Great purchase Mate, I'm 62 now and have owned 8 new Triumphs over the years and never had an issue with any of them, rock solid machines. Congratulations 👍
I'm also in my sixties and changed my 2020 Street triple for the new RS also in cosmic yellow, the new bike has raised the bar over the last model, it handles sharper but is still planted and low and mid range acceleration is much peppier, as for the noise I don't know if the US model is different but here in the UK Triumph made a point of saying the new model had improved the sound and I can confirm it's definitely louder than my old 2020 bike, plus all my biking friends comment on how good it sounds, my only slight gripe is the TFT which IMO is too cluttered and not as good as the previous one, some of the things like the clock are so tiny it's impossible for an old timer like me to read it without my glasses on, TBH I like the simpler TFT that's on the R (also on the Trident and Tiger 660) but the TFTs a minor thing as this is my fourth Street triple and by far my favourite.
Good to here... I do like Triumph's over all build quality... I had 2018 Speedmaster and a Scramble 1200, great bikes. I agree, the TFT could have been designed better, but it is something I can easily live with. It would be nice if they could give us a software update and change the layout to a larger and more performance look... like the speed triple. As far as the exhaust... it sounds good, but its way to quite for me. I have already sourced a work around to get a slip on to work and hoping to get it all doe next week.
Congratulations Ken! Beautiful bike!! You may remember me from the conversations we had over the last couple of months (you made a video for a question I had too)! So after all these months of contemplating, test riding, thinking, procrastinating, I finally bought a bike lol 23 Low Rider S! It’s my first cruiser and Harley, this was never even in my radar. The bike spoke to me, took like 6 months and 15 + test rides on different bikes to find the one for me. Ken thank you for the advice, recommendations and just speaking to me about this, I had a really tough time mentally pulling the trigger on a bike. Conversing with someone like you with in-depth experience and you providing your honest opinion helped me more than you ever know! You’ve helped make a positive difference in my life, I can’t think of anything greater than that to do for someone else. I try to ride as much as I can, it’s addicting! I want to volg like you do, maybe even help some people like you do by speaking out about the decision making process and my experience. This is proof that your channel helped make someone’s life better. Your positivity is contagious, much gratitude for everything!
I do remember, I'm glad I could help. The Low Rider is a cool bike, that's the type of cruiser I like, not to heavy and lots of torque. Thanks for the kind words, but it seems you have figured out whats best for you. I wouldn't say I have in-dept experience in bikes... maybe in life, but experience that's not used wisely is useless. In your case I think you did the right thing. Young people should not rush into making large purchases, thinking them out is important. For me, my time is running out and I tend to buy on emotion, its not always a good thing, but I have no regrets. Its very humbling when you here that you have influenced someone in a positive way. Looking forward to see your channel and new ride.
Congratulations again! You're so right about an analog tach. Much easier to read, especially at a quick glance. All you need is to see the position of the needle and you're good. Looking forward to future videos on the ST-RS. 😊
Awesome review. Thank you so much. I had the 2018 with the tf display. Really liked it but knew I’d loose my license if I kept it. Was so easy to ride and it screamed!! Really put a smile on my face every time I rode it. Oh , and once you hit the power and it was like “Oh my god hold on !!! ‘

That's a good lookin bike Ken, and I like how the Triumph emblem makes it look like a pair of eyes on the tank! New blinkers all around, that new license plate piece, and maybe a dark exhaust, and you'll be on your way to making this RS your own for sure!!

Not sure if someone told you this below, but to make the TFT dark you need to change the contrast all the way to dark.
