It could have some more energy if you added more sounds in the mid frequencies, it sounds extremely high end focussed, and maybe boost the 16 khz - 17 khz range for the extra energy
@@djTNELS yeah i lean to the dryer side of things, there's some reverb on stuff like the lead but it's super subtle because i like where it fits right now. drums are dry as fuck lol so i might try and splash some there.
getting good just requires grinding your face into making music for years and years. im 7 years in and im not anywhere close to being ready to market myself or release anywhere. some people have natural talent and can pick this stuff up within a year and be industry grade. i've watched many people blow up out of no where after like a year or two and just clean house with innovative mixing and sound design choices.

Never say never man! Just get into a groove that suits you and be a sponge for info and new tools to use for fl. Anyone can make it happen, Just gotta put in that work and have the will to accomplish everything you want to!

thanks haha, yeah nowadays everyone is an expert. you get use to it after years and years, especially whenever you become a jack of all trades and a master of none, so there's tons of head room for this track to have improved but i've decided to stop pursuing music. i still play with it now and then but nowhere near as seriously as i use to. i mainly just help people out who are just getting started with FL or production because i've found i get more satisfaction out of helping others. i've tried to do a break down of this track but i'm too shy so i just help whoever comes my way on discord or where ever.

I like tinnier tracks and I've tried to add some mid presence with other synths but it all just sounded like dick so I just kind of brought out the mids of what I had there and while it isn't much I hope it does something lol.

Yeah there's something about that lead... I made a track once with a lead that sounds just like it and it ended up being one of my least favorite ones, cause something was off and i don't know what. It's hard making good synth lead solos, been trying forever to get them down. It's an exceptional production outside of that lead, but yeah i find it kinda cringe for some reason
After listening to it again i didn't mind it as much except like one or two notes, but idk lol. The first time you hear something is always different and as a producer you can never know what it's like to hear your own song for the first time to someone else haha

Lead is a bit out of key, specially the 4th and 6th note. Maybe the glide is a bit too much or too low, but either way, the track is awesome
