I love these kind of frankenstein builds instead of just going for an engine swap like many others. Really interested to see the numbers on the dyno when you got it all working correctly. Also are those Hoshino Impul G5's on the front? They look amazing, really fits well on your ke70!

3:17 lol! I moved my old KE-70 like that once too haha. I had two of them (my first two cars) and curb weight on the old rego stickers were 790kg and 820kg from memory. I always dreamed of dropping a ‘97 Camry V6 into one of them. Not sure how hard that would be but it’s still a dream for future me to tackle 😝👍🏻
My KE70 4K Headgasket went out on me a few days ago flooded engine with coolant and sitting on the side of the road :(. But maybe I should rebuild it and Turbo it, what do you guys think ? was thinking 4AGE swap but cbf sourcing parts aye haha.

But fuel pump $35aud fuel reg $140 turbo $150-$600 intercooler few hundred bucks piping $100 exhaust few hundred perhaps boost gauge psi $10 All depends on what ya have laying around and what you can do ya self. I had exhaust I had piping didn’t use intercooler had turbo made the manifold myself done oil lines myself with what I already had didn’t use a bov so it cost me about $200
We didn't get a chance to test it fully as the owner wanted to go back to stock to get it registered etc. But there isn't any reason it wouldn't hold up with a good tune!
Joe Goolab this is built from leftovers basically. Just find a turbo from a small engine. Like a 1.3 I used one from a 1.5l laser and it takes a bit to spoil up I’m thinking of going smaller. Make your own manifold buy welding shit to your original manifold. I routed mine underneath to the other side. I think my pipe was to big and it’s loosing heat as it’s got a little bit to travel. So try keep it close. You may want to turn your rotor button and weld it so it can’t advance otherwise it might ping. Use an efi inline fuel pump like from a vl commodore and use a rising rate fuel pressure regulator that you can set between 2-10psi with a 1:1 rate rise NOT AN EFI ONE YOU WILL FLOOD YA CARB get a boost gauge and ya should be set. You can intercool it probably a good idea it will give you a better stutututu. Or if ya want the psshhhh noice go for the bov. It’s probably safer for the turbo to use a blow if valve anyway. Hope it helps. Maya be mike has more input or better input
I think install turbo for carb engine is by draw through not blow through. So the carb at the front of the turbo and suck by the turbo... :) its just my opinion dude by the way u should see my channel too... Thanks Bro
Would you be able to help with some issues I’m having with a build like this. Iv chucked the turbo on I’m 99% sure my exhaust isn’t leaking pretty sure my charge pipe has no leaks but I don’t seem to be getting boost. I have no bov installed and it’s not fluttering or making any noise really turbo does spin tho. I’ve got no exhaust coming from the turbo if that means anything and the oil return is just in a bottle atm. I haven’t got a boost gauge to check I don’t really have the $ for one atm. Damn bills. Please help dude i don’t know if you can private message on here so I done this comment aha
It gets 5 psi of boost. Takes a little bit to get there tho not sure if I should go smaller turbo or relocate so there is less exhaust before the turbo. Just need it to kick in faster

Been on the dyno yet? Interested to see numbers.. Used to run a draw though 4k turbo and it went really well but never dynoed.. K series love boost

This turbo is off a Nissan sr20det. Can also be found on a ca18det. Good luck with the build!
