So excited to be a new rewards member. I did exactly as you explained, downloaded the app and called to get my points credited for purchases I made during SAS. I received 4 rewards that I didn’t know I earned. Thanks so much!

To get the rewards in store, the sales associate cashing you out will ask for your phone number and the points are added to the rewards within 72 hrs I get my points from that all the time. On the receipt it shows your loyalty ID on the upper left corner. Hope that helps.
I think this only works in stores that offer or participate in the rewards program. My area doesn’t participate ☹️ Do you live in an area that participates in rewards?
@@Cynthiam106 No, I live in Florida, they don’t have the rewards program here, so I used a GA zip code to get my rewards. But every time I go to the stores they ask for my number and confirm my name it didn’t matter which store I went to.

Dang.. wish I knew ab the receipt thing you were talking about. I got rid of all my receipts from SAS and other receipts from before SAS. Wish I kept them all bc I would have had so many rewards on the app

I was reading online that you have around $240 limit for exchange without receipt and they hold that limit for 6 months after that. And scent of the day is Ariana Grande Cloud ☁️
I have watched other RUclipsrs make exchange for products they’ve had for longer 🤷🏽♀️ before watching all these videos myself I didn’t even know. I still haven’t exchanged something that’s really old. I want to get the Ariana Grande Cloud perfume so many people say it smells so good 💕

Of course, I just wish BBW cared because I don’t know if they do. They also only send coupons for some people. I’m still sitting here waiting for my coupon and it’s been years ☹️
@@Cynthiam106 I feel you! I got my first one in years just before Christmas, mind you I haven't shopped there much over the years but my friend got me turned onto candles. It seems like they only use them to entice infrequent shoppers.

When you go exchange your candle if they don't sell it in the store or if its a couple years old they have to throw them away. Employees can't even buy them. Thats with anything. Thats what I was told anyway. I just bought kauai lei flower body spray, lotion, and shower gel. Sadly I don't care for it so I was thinking about exchanging it but when they told me that I decided I'm going to try and sell to someone because I feel bad that it would just be thrown away. Especially since I know so many people who would be interested in it. So I guess if you could find someone to buy it I would do that. But if it's easier to just exchange it then do it because they just want you to love your product.

Hmm the thing about ordering from them on the phone you Have to give them your CC numbers on the phone. & they are working from their home. I just don't feel good about Giving my CC Number to them , I order on line, & use Pay pal & also its really sad to here people complaining about paying shipping, it's only $5.99 you spend that in gas driving to & from the stores , if not more money for gas for some people. But do you. TFS
I think shipping is cheap too! I have a $5.00 toll to reach the closest bbw.
In my opinion it’s safer to use my credit card because credit cards have protection against fraud too. If someone was to use it fraudulently I can just call the credit card department and put in a claim. I use to work in banking and PayPal accounts get hacked too. Those accounts are attached to your checking account and then you have to go through your bank to put in the claim. I had people with real bad experience with this, having to pay there rent and there money was gone. As far as the shipping price, it’s not a lot but I just feel that if I’m willing to spend a lot of money on the business it feels nice to get that fee waived. We are all different and it’s all good ❤️
PayPal accounts get hacked too and money comes out of people’s checking account many times.

Do you just take road trips to all BBW stores in the country? I saw you've traveled to Gilroy which is 1+ hour from me. I've not even been there haha.
I love 2 hours away and that was a little family road trip. So if we travel somewhere I try to head into a BBW 😉
@Cynthiam106 Ahh. I went to the San Ysidro one and they had VERY few $10 ones when I vacationed in San Diego. No $6 3-wick candles there. I'm in Alameda County and it sucks that even though we have a lot of stores here, no outlets. I've also resorted to getting $4.49 Aldi candles. They're actually good. My cousin lives in SD so I was able to ask her to buy a few for me. The closest Aldi is in Fresno. 😭😭😭

My rewards account is linked to my email and phone number some how so when I shop in store my points are automatically added
Do you live in an area where the particular store you shop at participates in rewards? My stores don’t participate and this does not get added for me ☹️

Michigan doesn’t have rewards program but I have been getting points via email for in store purchases.
@@Cynthiam106 I only had to call once because for them to be added because the person ringing me was rushing and did confirm my email....it's good you can call and still get you points added

So with the reward thing how does it work with using one of the zip codes you offered and then getting it shipped to your actual address and zip code??? Please lmk. Just like you I spend way too much money to not be earning rewards. I'd probably be willing to spend more if I was getting extra perks. I agree with you on everything u ou were saying in this video. I hate paying shipping. Its like I could buy something else from them for what I'd have to pay in Shipping.
When you download the app to your phone you just enter the zip code to be able to join. After that when you input your orders you enter your correct address with no problem. The main thing is entering your email and phone number correctly in the app and that ties in to getting your points. I can only get my free rewards products from online orders not in stores.

So do you know if it works on the one wick candle? This will be my first time using my rewards. Also does the price adjust and show that the item is free before putting in your payment info? I'm so confused 😕 Ps. I was looking for videos that could help and yours was the most helpful. You are doing awesome ❤ 🏅
It does work on the one wick candles but never on the 3 wick candles ☹️ make sure you are logged in to your account when making your purchase on BBW website then the rewards should show up at the end of checking out and make sure you hit the drop down and add it.

Hi Cynthia, so if we call in our in store purchase, customer service will credit rewards points to our online account?
Hi, this is an older video and we were able to do that before most recently about 2 months now things seem to have changed and I can’t add my points anymore. What I do now is order online to pick up in store, this way I get all my points. When I shop in the store, I don’t get my points anymore ☹️
The app doesn't allow you to put in another zip code either, it just asked for an email which is already linked to my account. No where around me has in store pick up either. Its ridiculous to me that the rewards program hasn't't been simplified yet and rolled out to all customers.
You can live chat. I tried it today but make sure it DOESN’T pass 10 days or no points:(
The last time I called I added a receipt from November 😬 it might depend on the rep 🤷🏽♀️

You got the whale with your rewards coupon? How about the 3 wicks? I couldn’t get it ☹️ I agree with you on the coupons because I never get them. I call and make sure my address is updated and I can’t wait till the day I get a coupon 🤗
@@Cynthiam106 yes I did get the whale with my rewards.. when it was 14.95 online. I was surprised it worked. No it didnt work on the 3 wicks. I bought so much between candLe day & SAS & didnt get any of the 2 mailer coupons since then. ( LosAngeles) They stayin stingy with the coupons
