Yes, TR2rise was considerably less challenging, and battles were tough for kindergarteners? Puzzles were a throwback to TRs of old, nice. Do you mean just before that? 2:37 is a regular grapple swing. It's the same control as Interact, but if there's a grappleable object above, she should do it.
It's not meant to be a super-tricky jump. Just jump forward then grapple. Lara swings forward, lets go, and should land on the beam as long as it's positioned parallel to the beam where you start. Maybe it's a bug. Have you tried reloading an earlier save and re-entering the puzzle room? Or if that's not possible, maybe go back to the last base camp and fast travel out and back again just to give the game a chance to rebuild the room.

Which jump is giving you trouble (timestamp)? And do you mean the grapple? You should have unlocked it a while back, at the end of The Acropolis level.
It's so strange. I just heard the same thing from another player this week, though you two are the only people who've asked me about this since the game came out. I've never had any issue with it myself, so I can't seem to figure out why it's happening. Are you sure the beams are oriented correctly before you try to make the jump? I'll continue to look into it and see what I can find out, but meanwhile, if it's a glitch, you might try reloading an earlier save and re-entering the area to see if it will reset.
OK, A single grapple swing on pc lands you automatically on the other side with no effort once initiated. Double swing grappling does not auto-land you at the desired spot, and always short for a nice death. There is another double maneuver later to get an item, and always lands you short. To complete the second grapple swing safely, I held down the grapple, jump, and forward keys after connecting on the second grapple. That miraculouly got me that extra few feet for a safe no death landing. None of that makes sense but moved me forward finally. I think most players are on ps4 or xbox, and game was ported to those first, most likely.
Interesting! Thanks for the info, Wayne. I don't think I've ever done a double swing there--or in most other places in the game--so that didn't even occur to me. I will add a note to the walkthrough.
My bad, the first single grapple swing in the Orrery, after climbing the sq. block, lands you on a skinny rail. Every grapple swing usually lands you safely automatically, except here. You autoland short for long way down death. I'm sure there is a double swing grapple, near the pendulum bomb puzzle, to get to a document or relic, and the second swing lands you short. All other grapple swings are no-brainers. Acts like a glitch to me. Mashed keys til successfully finding the secret combo of no death.

+sackfulofnews I'm afraid not. The minimum specs call for 64-bit Windows. I asked Crystal Dynamics about this and they asked Nixxes, who did the PC port. Their response was: "Windows 64-bit has become fairly common for all major game releases since 2015. Minimum requirements have gone up for recent games, focusing to take advantage of the hardware that the majority of the players has." So vague-ish, but there you have it. Oml thank you so much
Top Notch tutorial 👍🏆
The one I liked least had an orrery I must get it and play
I thought this was an actual puzzle. Was just moving the constellation around.
Yeah, not much of that in this game. A bit more in Shadow of the TR, though.
It legit does not grab the shit that I’m in front of
A fucking chaos
Thank you for this. Let's just say I bought all three of the square enix tomb raider games. And now I know why they are so cheap right now.
Because they're 3-8 years old? 😁 And you're welcome. Glad the video was helpful.
You can just say that you don't like the game...
The last part made me give up on the game entirely. What a piece of shit
pc looks good
+Kat Woman I agree. This video is from the Xbox One version, though. My laptop isn't super great, but it can manage High settings with no trouble. When I plug into a big monitor, it looks pretty sweet.
+Stella's Tomb Raider Site
Stella, do you know if by any chance the game plays on a 32 bit PC? :(
+sackfulofnews I'm afraid not. The minimum specs call for 64-bit Windows. I asked Crystal Dynamics about this and they asked Nixxes, who did the PC port. Their response was:
"Windows 64-bit has become fairly common for all major game releases since 2015. Minimum requirements have gone up for recent games, focusing to take advantage of the hardware that the majority of the players has."
So vague-ish, but there you have it. In case you need a list, here are the min/recommended specs: tombraiders.net/stella/tomb10.html#pc-specs
I watched the beginning then I did it myself not knowing what to do 😩
The part at 6:05 was pissing me off. I've literally not had to look up one thing on this game until this sh*t. How tf are you suppose to know you have to drop? Smh
Well, Lara does yell, "Now!" :D Back in the day you'd rarely get verbal hint, nevermind Survival Instinct. But point taken. I'm glad the video was helpful.
Thank you
