Top quality 2019 Old Skool Hardcore sounding track from Rave 2 The Grave and released on a collaboration between the South Coast of England labels Jedi Recordings (Oldskool & Hardcore DJ Jedi) & Stormtrooper Recordings. The latter was also behind the excellent Underdog Recordings label. Check the above links for the vinyl release well worth getting.
Whether you're an old school raver or someone who's discovering this music for the first time doesn't matter - we're all here appreciating a proper banger of a track.
Amen dude ! Hardcore will never die ❤
I'm a newbie junglist gen z and I swear 80s and 90s people had the best music in history
The tone of that piano loop near 30secs in tho... 😍 Imagine peaking in a rave on a dove and the DJ drops this one for you, just take that in. Levels 💯 Mickeybeam your channel is epic 😎 luckily djs came to Belfast despite the reputation/situation at the time and played for us and ask any of them that did and they will tell you we absolutely went mental for them. Rave scene here put a lot of people who wouldn't have socialised really together in a neutral space on a dancefloor then the doves played their part and tbh it was like a release valve, everyone set aside their differences and just went for it largely. I've great friends almost 30 years now that due to the divide/ troubles here I wouldn't have ever known only for those raves and still the music gives me that same feeling only with added nostalgia these days😂💯😎 thanks to all the local guys, promoters and djs who made it happen here (and everywhere else!)
Epic piano loop 6:00 and further... ;-)
Totally agree Ciar. I was part of that scene in NI from 91 to....well I still can't let go. Those raves back then were surely indirectly part of the peace process? For the first time ever in NI no-one gave a fuck what foot you kicked with. Probably first time kids from our generation got to mix with the other side. Great times!! No, amazing times. Definitely changed me for the good!!
@@eastgreenketama1in the context of the times where most socialised in bars etc in their own areas more than the city centre it think your right in saying I could have had a positive bearing on the conditions for that peace process. It definitely helped our generation drop their guard as it were and realise we were all the same at the end of the day. The peace love and unity vibe had to have rubbed off on some of the headers here! Brilliant times indeed, remember running thru police and army checkpoints wiped out of your head trying to keep your jaw from swinging while on your way to the next rave haha, you could write a book on the mayhem💯😂😎
ciar tdsfa - One Nation, One Love Bro.. it was partly to do with the ex.. it was a great big communal active group meditation using the medium of dance.. sadly we can never hope to achieve that with skunk! Stay Blessed G
Your comment has given me goosebumps! 👌🏻✌🏻🙏🏻❤❤❤
Powerful. Wish I grew up in UK during the rave era early 90's
Go with the flow 😁💖👍 haven rave In my flat sure be told off tomorrow 🙄

Wish I was an adult in the 80s/90s. Bet the clubs were awesome then. Todays youth will never have the fun older generations did. Every things too regulated now.
It wasn't the clubs ypu wanted to be in back then! It was the illegal raves!

Lisa Stansfield never sounded so good!

In my late 40s now diabetic, one foot in the grave. But the joy these tunes bring.... Priceless
OI!Watch it,mate..same boat here,so i can relate..but don't think FOR A SECOND that u have to've gone all Victor Meldrew;unless u give up on embracing the energy & vibe that got us together 'avin it to these choons in the day..it's still there within you,it's just been a while since you let it flow;go on,try it..once u do,it'll grow & show u what u need to know..or rather, remember:gratitude for memories & appreciation for who/where u are, compared to so many others that're worse off..esp.'ly that many are/were not in their prime at that time,as we were..reasons to be cheerful:we can do it,solo or together.Never give up,mate!
p.s. if you're type II,that can be reversed through diet & other means,too:do the research,so you,or anyone else u know/care about,don't have to suffer unduly..remember,it ain't just us who've been sold a crock,but alot of the doctors/medical establishment,too..
EVERYONE PLEASE watch "The Beautiful Truth"(to the end, esp.'ly 4what's written when the endcredits music starts;puts it all into context) here on YT for a greater idea of the scale of it & the scope for hope we all can have!Go on..an hr-&-a-half will OPEN YOUR EYES & MIND,and could change your life;what've u got to lose?Apart from the supposedly "realistic"(ha!) view that leads to depression & despair at becoming potential daisy/worm food too soon..doctors told my friend that he didn't even have nine weeks left;he said "f@#3 that",did the research, changed his diet, supplemented accordingly, kept busy & mentally/emotionally engaged ,found out(on the way) how to cure just about every other condition on your own..apart from his, which he needed a willing doctor/nurse's pair of hands to administer/oversee treatment,as v.tricky to do solo & illegal in this country(and not coz of drugs/medication,either;the list of dr.'s/nurses up4 it disappeared from the 'net);so,being unable to travel,as to get to where it was legal,he got nine years more,instead..if it wasn't for the arrogance of a senior doctor not liking the fact my man knew more about his condition than him, someone "trained" to be blind to alternatives to standard medical thinking/diagnosis/treatment,he'd've probably had nine more..
Experience the joy of knowledge & howto useit for a longer, better quality of life for you & all you know or care to share it with... PRICELESS ;-)
Ok I'm 50 now and not in the best of health but i hear both of you. Let this music from this glorious period lift you and heal you. I am looking to start a revival night when lockdown is over!
But the other foot is still in the rave, right?

Absolutely loving this - huge shout to those working to produce more sounds like this making new music that pays homage to the tunes we love from 91-94 - the like button doesn’t quite seem enough!
100%. Can’t agree more.
I have a huge vinyl collection that covers the UK hardcore scene of the early 90s....I would have been fooled into this being from that era...cool track
Please one day digitise them for the rest of us - who were not so fortunate to exist back then :)
I can't believe that this 90ies era sound is coming back!! I f**** love it
Why not? It was THE best period for music and I was there.
Hardcore will never die
Big up all Junglists

The Breakbeat is still alive in ANDALUCIA🤩🤩🤩🤩
This era was the best electronic music ever made, it will never be beaten!
@Don't Shoot How old are you? This is classic old school. Whether you say this is from 2019 these are samples from around 1992-1993
Legendary 90s Label Stormtrooper Recordings Are Back For Their 25th Anniversary With Two Fresh 1992 Style Tracks By An Original Label Artist. This may have been released in 2019 but stormtrooper and rave to the grave have been around since the early nineties. These are old sample beats redone!
It was a surprise but it really shouldn't be to discover the Organ Donors made this track... Rave to the Grave just one of their pseudo names.
Sounds so authentic! This would've tore shit up in the early 90s, glad to hear a hardcore revival.
Revival ?
People have been making hardcore breaks tunes constantly since it started. There has never been any period tunes were not being made in this oldskool style.
@@3jesus3christ3 How can something 'come back' if it never went away ?
You're a pleb get over it.
@@DjNikGnashersno need to be hostile over music. what they probably meant is a new breakbeat track hasn’t been this popular on youtube.
@@tweeleaf Not hostile in the slightest son, just pointing out a fact : that breakbeat music has never stopped being produced since it exploded in 91/92.
It never went away and came back, it's always been around.
Yes there was an influx of tunes around 2000 ish which copied the original sounding 'rave' style, but there was plenty of breakbeat tunes being produced constantly since the scene was 'invented'.
It's only music listeners who probably 'thought' it went away, mainly because they latched onto other forms of dance music and forgot about the breakbeat stuff, thinking it was dead and trance, hardhouse, DnB, etc was the only music being made when in fact it was simply that they were not looking for breakbeat music and just assumed it wasn't being made.
What is hostile about that, I'm just pointing out the facts.
@@DjNikGnashers what’s hostile about that is you called someone a pleb. also, i’m not reading that.
Couldn't agree more... thing is it never will be... we have to just realise that we were so blessed to have been there... these young us will never know.....
Vibration is eternal, it will always be there
When the music had character, fantasy and dreams...
Love that comment.... Sums up the disparity between then and now music. Love It that this 90s sound seems to be making a comeback. 90s fashion is deffo in with clothes... So we just need the rest o it back

etsi!
Couldn't agree more 👍
Fact it’s ‘new’ means music can and still does have all those things it’s just how it’s made generally these days is the issue.. for us at least! I completely agree with your sentiments tho! ✌️👊
What an absolute stormer! Encapsulates the sounds and the feel of 92, loads of memories flooding back. This would’ve been a massive tune back in the day. I love it, wish it was around during my labyrinth days!

LOL 😂 me to
People trying to figure of the genres. XD It's clear as day, breakbeat hardcore (synths and breakbeat), jungle (sirens and quick BPM) and piano house (synth piano chords) sounds.
See some people don't get it before Junglist and Drum and Bass there was Jungle Techno, I present this exhibit as proof...
I can't believe this is recent
I'm sure I heard that 'Givin it to life' tune at Universe In 2 Orbit in 1992
Maybe as I suspected I did leave a major part of my brain behind in a field in the West Country
i love NRG!! both tracks are so good

"Give a Little Love" vocals by the great Lisa Stansfield (sample taken from her song "People Hold On" off the Coldcut album "What's That Noise?" 1989).

Jedi/stormtrooper - how many breakbeat samples do you want to use?
R2tg - yes.
I've loved modern made retro old skool since I was old enough to have have been just 5 years too young to enjoy this in the club's at 92/93.
Been keeping the dancefloor warm for you!

Smashing tune!
Rave 2 The Grave = DJ Jedi?
I assumed it was him too, when the R2TG series' first 4 EPs were released in 2019 (this was a joint collab on the Return Of The Vibe imprint, however, and separate from those).
Thinking back, I honestly can't remember what convinced me it was a DJ Jedi alias. It may have been the fact that his label, Jedi Records, is closely affiliated with the Stormtrooper/Return Of The Vibe labels and the whole Star Wars theme kind of tying it all together lol Who the fuck knows though lol.
Anyway, Mr. Jedi came out and put that theory to bed on a Discogs discussion just the other day.
