You can tell whether it is scordatura tuning or standard tuning at the 2nd measure. With scordatura, the chord is C-B natural-F-Ab and played in first position. It is not possible to play all four notes simultaneously with standard tuning. Many other chords can be played in standard 1st and 3rd positions with the original scordatura tuning that would be much more difficult and sometimes require alterations with standard tuning.
