DAMN I’ve been building up my own Eminem timeline and this video made me so proud to see I got a lot of the info correct, down to the exact dates and locations of things. Great video my guy
@@hass9510 he didn’t get out the hospital on December 24th, that’s when the overdose took place. He left the hospital a week later and a few days later went in for a knee surgery. ”One afternoon around Christmas of 2007, Eminem overdosed on methadone pills, collapsing in the bathroom of his Detroit mansion. Days after leaving the hospital, he underwent knee surgery (for an old injury) and started gobbling painkillers again. “I thought it was a sign of weakness to have an addiction,” he writes in Vibe. “I didn’t even want to believe it was a disease. But I realized it when I f---ing almost died and then I still went back to using. I literally almost died.” www.today.com/today/amp/wbna30889466
Jesus 1:33 is rough to look at. Em looks soulless here, the dyed hair makes it worse imo because its like a failed attempt to hide his rock bottom depression under the veneer of Shady.
This video was VERY interesting. I’ve been keeping tabs on your channel for years now and I find it really neat that you tend to hyperfixate on this era of Eminem - it’s neat!
You kind of left out the 2nd overdose. Other than that wow this could have ended badly. Or maybe it did since people think he died during this time I honestly wouldn’t be surprised because it was leading up to something terrible
@@dranzer2545 idk where you got the ”second overdose” from. He only overdosed once December 24 2007. He relapsed twice tho as pointed out after he left the hospital after the overdose.
@@Xplicit101 sorry I probably missed it. Really good research here. You should put emphases on it because that’s when he basically was reborn. Still odd how much he changed after that
@@estebanjones5402 dawg he originally recorded careful what you wish for in 2007 in the unreleased King Mathers album the beautiful track was on it too. The careful what you wish for track was re-recorded by Eminem in 2009 and was in the relapse album
Well before his overdose in his songs you can tell he was rapping slower and his voice had sounded deeper. 2008 he became sober and lost a lot of weight started rapping a lil too trying to learn how to rap again
No it wasn’t. 50 Cent was in Dublin on tour in Europe the date of Riggs wedding. what a weird hiatus, the re-up crew nobody really blew... Em put a lot of effort into Obie...
Obie went platinum though..
Eminem though Underground Rap would last
But no by that time Trap music was starting
Dude looked so worn out starting in 2004. Even before Proof died. Feel so bad for him. Glad he turned it around.
"Eminem gets clean, April 20th 2008"
What a high note to end on ✊️
This is really interesting is a Part 2 coming for the entirety of Relapse era as well

This is interesting as fuck. Is there any audio from the 2007 county hound ep shade 45 special?
There was an audio file on Rap Basement forum when it dropped but it’s a dead audio link. Nobody seem to have it saved
@@Xplicit101 Can I ask how you knew the whole dates? Especially him coming out of the hospital in december 24 and continuing to use.

so Akon is just sitting on 4 other Eminem beats, crazy.
Eminem put on for Detroit artist with those mixtapes back in his era. He don’t owe anybody anything now
For any who's wondering what the song in the background is (Everything by Eminem) but this is a piano version of it idk
Crazy to think there is this much info during his hiatus and people still think he is a clone.
because people dont like to accept that sometimes people change
Em needed a rest.

Who did the orchestral version of Everything?

Stat Quo probably introduced Bobby Creekwater to Eminem. they had a tape out called Shady South and thats from 2004 i think
Former Shady A&R Riggs Morales discovered Bobby Creek. If you mean the Shady South All-Stars Mixtape that one was released in November 2006
@@Xplicit101 yeah that one. alright, cool to know 👍🏼
Love your work! Takes time to do things like this and Stans like me greatly appreciate it
Were you his FBI Agent in those years or something??? 😂😂😂
If so leak more music pls

Still odd how much he changed after that
Otherwise interesting video 🔥
Would you happen to have a source for
2:36? Archiving purposes
2:28 a dead body at the shoot? can you elaborate, cant find anything
www.spin.com/2006/11/eminem-video-shoot-deadly/ There was a MTV article about it too, must've been deleted.
And then we got relapse😈👹💀
My question is why did his voice change from late 2007 to mid 2008 ?
It’s because he got clean and everything on him changed even his voice and his behaviour
@PetrosKarpodinis he was clean when he recorded careful what you wish for and my darling. Right there he still sounds like regular eminem

@PetrosKarpodinis being clean don't make your voice change in just 7 months lol he wasn't an alcoholic he just popped pills

u forgot the part in 2007 where eminem said "lmao i am eminem me eminem i am king mather"
thank you i'll be here all night
wittewy
What the melody ?
From the song «everything i do » bro
2:42 that was Riggs Morales' weddding
