As a dive treasure recovery specialist do I ever know the pain of this equation. Especially with the Excalibur II and using X Pointer Pulse Induction pinpointer to locate lost wedding rings in thick silt! I went as far as to make an easy power button for my Excalibur II as the power knob is a bitch to twist on and off with thick dive gloves on and I'd likely brake the damn thing by over twisting! I am pressed for time when diving for lost items as when my breathing gas is done my dive is done! Here is the Excalibur button project you might get a kick seeing how much energy I put into this! I now use the Deus II as my primary dive detector but its all application specific for all tools. Excalibur II is my go to machine for lost cellphone or electronics in the water as the Excalibur has a very unique chatter over a cell phone dead ringer every single time!
To see the Excalibur II button project I did just search RUclips for "SeattleRingHunter Excalibur II Power Button Mod" Not for sale just an example of the crazy lengths we go to make our gear work for us in very unique detecting applications. I have two dropped wedding rings at 90 to 100 feet deep so as big and bulky as the Nokta Pulse dive is I keep it around with the pinpointer tip because its rated for 200' deep! I don't search for lost jewlery past 100 feet deep as I am not a tech diver. Truth be told I had a Quest X Pointer flood at 90 feet deep opps oh well its only rated to 100 feet deep. It's all part of this mad game in fining the tools that work for the specific application. Yes the Invenio is a beast detector I own one with the large 22" coil for deeper targets. I reside near Seattle so if anyone in the PNW has lost buried gold, silver stash on a property i.e. grandpa passed away and your now searching for his hidden treasures just call me up for a confidential recovery! None of this to boast but to share we have the tools, experience and passion to recover your lost treasures, land, sea, in car, in building or tossed out the window and much much more... 🤙 Cheers, #SeattleRingHunter

Glad I went with the pro pointer AT to use with the legend, and I can still take it in the water. Ive procrastinated for decades to order a detector, I'm hoping I made the right choice with the legend over the simplex. I just remember you saying its more stable in iron and I do plan on being around around lots of iron at times. Very helpful vids! thank you! That pulse dive would be nice just on its own at the lake looking for float copper or something, just to never fear leakage and swim.

it took me three attempts to order the detector till payment was accepted, and each day I was checking my stoop for nothing

On my Simplex it's a piece of cake because you either have the mute button or when I use my wireless headphones as soon as I turn it on it disconnects the signal to the detector and go straight to the headphones and is perfectly quiet. With my T2 I have to keep the pulsedive on the other side of my body that the detector is on Or it Will false like crazy but once I learned I can't keep them on the same side not a big deal. I actually like the pulsedive as it's built like a tank but to each his own.

I just got the PulseDive and it works great when I switched the frequency on the detector..and both work great together with the green headphones.

The pulsedive will not hit foil or small jewelry. Deal breaker for me!!
