I've been searching for this song for YEARS. All o could remember was I saw this video on ZTV when I was a teenager, I liked it and the song and the ladder dropping from heaven. It took me a lot of searching to get here today. I'm tremendously happy!
Growing up in the remotest village of North East India, I fell in love with Petra at a very young age. Scavenging any cassette/tape i could find to play in a cassette player of our neighbour's coz we couldn't afford to buy one. If you listen to any Gospel music then Petra is definitely something no one should miss. John Schlitt is my favourite vocalist.
John has one of the more recognizable, unique and versatile voices in Rock.

i was on the set when this video was being filmed. I was working for a local christian TV station and we were there to interview John about his new solo album. This was in Tulsa, OK and i was so young back then. lol. great memories
It's super ironic that with so many great songs and so many great bands out there emerging everyday, the songs that I listened to and still listening to are only the 80's and the 90's!!!!!!

And by the way this is just a side note I had more fun in a cover band almost 40 years ago doing never been any reason I signed your part and I played the keys but it was so much fun I have to tell you I love doing the harmonies simple 135 and the other guys singing did their job well too and we all had a blast I have to tell you that because I've been in too many bands and I can't remember but I had a blast doing that song and absolute blast the drummer sang the first part I sign yours but it was so much fun I'll never forget it
