    Hey guys! Today we’re switching it up a little bit! Cleaning my dad’s dirty work van! Not the type of vehicle I usually work on, but hey can’t let the man drive such a dirty car! 😄

      Is your target market just exotic cars? I see all you detail is very nice expensive vehicles.

    • @jaaphoogendijk671
      @jaaphoogendijk671 4 года назад

      Good stuff, taking care of your old man! For a work van, it is actually not bad at all. When work vans come into the garage I work in for service, they are literally filled with sand and gross items

    • @VermijlCarDetail
      @VermijlCarDetail  4 года назад +1

      Thank you Jaap! That’s right, this wasn’t too bad. He does his best to keep this thing somewhat clean. A good detail every now and then also helps of course!

    • @VermijlCarDetail
      @VermijlCarDetail  4 года назад +3

      Most cars I get in are indeed more expensive, but I wouldn’t really call them exotics, I guess they are more like performance cars. Would love to work on an exotic one day though!

    POL STAR, one of the greatest interior APC's ever made! It truly is magic in a bottle for any interior surface! Always enjoy your detailing videos. Love Belgium too by the way, a great Country, had the pleasure of visiting a few years back with my family. We visited four Country's in about a week's time....Germany, France, Belgium, and Luxembourg. Amazing how close all the European Countries are together.......like driving State to State in the USA.

My customers often ask how long a detail will take, I have found my self having a hard time giving them a accurate answer as every vehicle is different with different levels of filth. • @g4holla
      @g4holla 4 года назад

      @@VermijlCarDetail I have the exact setup you do, except I have a DeWalt drill. Honestly I'm probably using too much solution and it's flinging everywhere. I also couldn't get the dilution to 20:1 exactly, just had to guess when I did it so it's probably closer to 10:1..

    • @VermijlCarDetail
      @VermijlCarDetail  4 года назад +2

      The stronger the solution, the more it will foam. Obviously it needs to be strong enough to clean, but I’d still recommend using less solution. I prefer doing a second pass if needed, instead of having it sling on other panels. Try it out next time you take on an interior! 😉👍

    • @itsgerdi
      @itsgerdi 4 года назад +1

      Very nice that you don't get me wrong. It’s possible to determine this by yourself. Professional influencers recommend using a maximum of 2 clips per 10 minutes. For example at the beginning and shortly before the end or as soon as the watch time drops. In your case of 20 minutes, I would use 3 to a maximum of 4 clips and the remuneration does not change noticeably. Cheers from Germany 🤙☺️ Keep it up!

      Thanks for your advice Gérard, I will take that into account! Of course it’s nice to have a source of income for the time and effort I put into these videos, but I certainly don't want it to be annoying to watch because of too many breaks. I don’t know too much about this type of stuff as I’m still pretty new to the RUclips partner program. Therefore I appreciate any type of support!

If I would be doing these interior jobs on a daily basis, I’d probably invest in something more professional.
