In my humble opinion, the reason why it is said that music is haram, are the frequences and words that can influence your mind. But at the other side, there are books like the Communist Manifesto from Marx, which caused horror like nothing. Movies can influence you. Tales can influence you. Now is reading a book haram? Is watching a movie haram?
The Hadiths on music contradict each other. One says musical instruments aren’t allowed.. then the other the prophet allowed these two girls play the tamborines lol

How can you and I who didn't live at his time truely follow him (SAW) without the preserved sayings and actions (Saheeh Hadeeth). "O believers! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you. Should you disagree on anything, then refer it to Allah and His Messenger, if you ˹truly˺ believe in Allah and the Last Day. I don’t question the holy Quran, if Allah doesn’t say that music is forbidden . Than I’m good, I know not to listen to certain types of music.

That's what I was thinking. The intonation in the recitations sounds to me like music and helps me to remember the surahs better.
