Yes. We've found a few really nice big caves recently. So we submitted an article with photographs to the national caving magazine and got published. So this is now a nationally recognized find. Which is a pretty big deal for our little neck of the woods. It's a difficult cave to get into and dangerous to set up vertical lines. So I doubt it will get a lot of traffic currently. They'd have to be shown. In the future, we may be able to open up the entrance a bit more and then you will have plenty of takers since the vertical is so great. That's the real draw here is a cave where rope is required. Besides the fact that it's also an interesting and pretty cave

Yeah it was pretty terrifying. The only way to even see the pit required us to be in a really dangerous position. It took us a few weeks to get our gear and get back in and make a plan on how to get down. The whole thing was fairly dangerous. But we solved most of the problems and ended up having a great time.
Hopefully you guys got some good mapping done and spread that valuable intel with other potential cavers! Glad to see you guys having fun, although I wouldn’t recommend you singing alto anytime soon!

The early cave dwellers who created the cave drawings at 13.39 must have climbed into the abyss on vines with only flaming torches to guide their way. Amazing.

Absolutly stunning. I dont do caving but diving and intense swimming sessions. In rhodes/ greece the water flow catched me badly not being able to return to the beach for nearly two hours till i got exhausted to the max. That was a time i got to relax in order to survive.

It was generally thought that most of the big caves we're already found in our area many years ago. But the last couple of years we have been popping into monsters left and right. This was probably the most unique find, and we were extremely happy. Finding vertical cave is just astounding.

I always respect cavers for they are doing unthinkable things that I would never ever do even in a dream. It requires such bravery and courage to enter into deeper parts of caves, navigating through tight holes, repalling down the unknown depths, come back alive. My salutes to these daredevils. Because of them, people like me could have a look into it, sitting in the comforts of my home.
I'm trying to imagine the awe of just going around lava tubes expecting at most a modestly large room and you poke your head into pitch blackness as far as you can see. Maybe I can see the thrill of exploring unknown caves now :p
Cave hiking is scary indeed but this line from the Lost City of Z somehow summarizes your experience and I absolutely respect that: "So Much Of Life Is A Mystery, My Boy. We Know So Little Of This World. But You And I Have Made A Journey That Other Men Cannot Even Imagine. And This Has Given Understanding To Our Hearts."
You should get a tiny drone or RC car with a camera or something like that to explore tight places to see if they're worth climbing into, or to see what's beyond where it's possible for a person to go. Another thought is a cheap endoscope, they have ones for $30 in Amazon where it's just a tiny camera with a light on a 15 foot thin cord, it plugs into your smartphone and just works as if your phone has a third camera.
My favorite cavers of all time! Also wanted to add, I love how the subtitles in the beginning translate 'Cave Tour Guide' to "Cave Tour God'. WHERE ARE YOU GOD OF CAVING!?

Well. I used to recoil at various cave exploration videos on RUclips. But your editing and explanations make them much easier to watch. Daresay I find myself slightly interested in doing an exploration. Only with a proper guide of course. And maybe if I lose about 50 pounds 😅
It's huuuuuge! Dropping into that unknown dark is real adventuring. You never know what you will find. The colours and formations down there are incredible.
The real danger here was the transition at the top of the. There's not much video of it because there's no space. It goes from crack to edge quite quickly. It took us a few weeks to sort out how to get down in there.
The start of this cave is beautiful and you can walk right in for some distance. That's as far as anyone ever got until we weased our way through the bottom.

Welcome to the dark frontier. We do answer some questions. The air is fine. People ask a lot so I assume there's some myth about bad oxygen underground or something. In real life, the oxygen is completely normal in a cave. *Just cold
That lava rock must be an absolute nightmare when it comes into contact with your vertical rope... Very cool lava tube. They say some of the vertical lava tubes on Reunion Island are over 1000 feet deep. Great video.

It stands as the deepest vertical drop in our area, at the least. Lava tubes don't normally produce much vertical, so this is a real anomaly.
