The very first video I saw you in was one of your teary ones, which made me tear up, too and that willingness on your part to be vulnerable made me say, "You know what, I like this lady. She's real."
Thank you so much for posting. I was literally nodding in agreement the whole way through. Started my 31 day posting challenge on 1 Oct. This video REALLY helps!
What keeps me engaged (although I only have four short videos so far) is my drive to help people. I'm chasing a lofty goal that many people think is beyond their reach, but if something I say reaches one person and makes them smile, that was a successful video. And if you want to talk about impostor syndrome, I'm a trans woman who discovered herself after 50 years of being an impostor, so I'm very conscious about being myself, not the persona I used to hide behind.
I quit for more than 6 months but when I started back posting, and decided to keep going I saw faster growth and I was able to build & nurture a community & monetize without 1K subscribers through other means! Thanks for these videos, Virginia!❤️
Now I swear to myself even though I am not getting subscriber I will post frequently 😭 I know that we need motivation to post anything but people specially known ones they're jealous of our works and they don't even open it, I was begging in Facebook groups, friends relatives nobody even watched it 😢

Virginia, 4:22 was (as we say in the South) a "slap yo mama" moment for me! I have been fixing computers for over 30 years. I have a RUclips channel with almost 140,000 subscribers. I get comments ALL the time from viewers correcting me on every little thing, but my core audience is novice computer users, and that’s what I try to focus on. if nothing else, that one statement from you is going to help me stay focused on the people that find actual value in my content, and not worry about trying to impress every single "computer expert" in the world. Great messages & videos Virginia ! It is really interesting when you record different sentences in different places. I’m sure that’s quite a bit to orchestrate of course. I’ll probably start by just spinning on my axis & recording the next sentence right where I stand. However, that means I have to pick-up the entire room lol 😂 not lol 🥴
I have a question. I moved to Australia this week and will focus more on my channel for a yeas. Hoe many times a week should I post? Are there rules around this considering algoritms? Does it matter if it´s shorts or longer videos. I like your length. There are too many time wasters on YT and like when it´s efficient...
How do you determine what to share here if you’re also wanting to create courses about the same thing? I’m wanting to go back to sharing about my therapeutic art/art meditation practice (I currently sell active lifestyle apparel), but I always get hung up on sharing enough, yet still having something unique to share as a paid option. Thanks for any tips on this!

So good to hear it's helped. Tiktok? Recently?
@ThisIsVirginiaKerr not recently, no. It was awhile ago I believe. Then I followed you on RUclips. And your tips have been amazing. It's so nice to see and connect with a relatable creator
@@thevisionpreneur I was gonna say. I haven't posted on tiktok in a long time. That means so much! Yes I find its easier to connect on RUclips. longer content and people are more invested..not just mindlessly scrolling unless they're on Shorts 🤣
@@ThisIsVirginiaKerr totally agreed! I look forward to more of your content! 😊
Thank you so much! I have my YT channel. Focused on healing turbulent mother-adult daughter relationships, which is birthed from the pain of my adult and I. I find myself hesitating every time I should post. So thank you so much for such inspiring videos.
You mentioned in one of your videos you have programs. I will be launching a coaching program for mothers with adult daughters. Can you do a video on the best platforms to use for program content? Thank you again!
Thank you for your inspiration 😍
You're welcome!
You’re inspiring ❤What editing do you use ?
Great messages & videos Virginia ! It is really interesting when you record different sentences in different places. I’m sure that’s quite a bit to orchestrate of course. I’ll probably start by just spinning on my axis & recording the next sentence right where I stand. However, that means I have to pick-up the entire room lol 😂 not lol 🥴
Thank you! It's not as hard you think just takes a good outline and an activity that involves multiple steps 😊
Thank you so much
Thank you ❤
Superb work dear
Whenever I begin to give up a little, I keep my dream vision in front of me. I already got some regrets about other things I didnt fully commit too and stopped. I dont want that again, I want to be able to say that I REALLY TRIED TO MY FULL POTENTIAL. So this will also be a reminder for myself whenever I start doubting again, maybe this will get brought up in future, to read my msg own and believe in it again. ❤ thx to all my 55 Subs 🥰
How do you manage to look at the phone straight ahead when it’s on landscape position?
Thank you
You're welcome!
Nice Wellies!
Thanks!
Ha - I’m an 8, 7, 3 on the Enneagram. So there’s a part of me that doesn’t give a F*&k what people think and then there’s another part that really does 😅 Confusing!
Thank you for this video! It was very helpful. My goal is to reach 1k and get monetized, but like you said, that can’t be my main goal.
where do you buy all your t-shirts? i liked your idea about wearing solid colors but i don't have them
I buy a lot on poshmark. I like the brands Nation LTD and Rebecca Minkoff
That's my problem, my videos are shaking.
What do you mean by shaking? I looked and don't see any videos on your channel 😊
Are you reading my mind😮🙆🙆🙆
Glad it spoke to you!
At 3:42 is someone with you? :-) or did you set up the camera in the car. Good video!
With 45+ years in the car business, I am not an “expert.” I am an enthusiast about many of our products but primarily I am very enthusiastic about people. ❤ I have “expert” pins to prove my knowledge (cough cough) but I can teach anyone of you to pass the tests. Just like Virginia, our enthusiast attitude, conveys for the well being of our clients. I was taught a long time ago by a trainer, “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.”
Your enthusiasm about people shows in every comment and even in your profile picture. We need more Marks in the world ❤️ thank you for this fantastic reminder of how important it is to show people you care!
Well I definitely know I shouldn̈t do a live and try to use my laptop to do something that has nothing to do with the video. I have cooked though. I love your videos. I finally figured out who my target audience is. Boy oh boy does it make a difference.
Yay! Yes that's the key to it all!
