- No, you don't need that expensive Aperture 120 D. You don't need to spend thousands of dollars on 3 point lighting systems with giant softboxes in your living room. Best budget lighting should be simple and cheap. That's where the Colbor CL100 comes in :) Super cheap continuous video light, very compact and lightweight, very quiet. Best video light I've ever tried.

I may be in the minority but I have to say this classic neg look with this light is my favourite of what I've seen on your channel so far!
However the mic on the camera and hearing the focus motor is distracting...
I like your videos and watch them a lot, but Please don't use the strong promist filters on your videos they are extremely distracting and feels like doing a video call with someone who didn't wipe his phone camera from the finger prints. I really don't think they give a good image inside the house. You could at least try the weaker 1/8
Every filter/effect should be used only when appropriate. Bokeh is overused, just to make an example.

A prototype R5C at the Olympics makes a lot of sense. If it does everything the R5 does, without overheating, it's far more capable than the 1DX III (with the exception of weather sealing). Some pros won't want to hear that. They'd be wrong.
Thank you for posting. I tried to find at Amazon, B&H and Adorama. Does not appear to be available as of yet at US retailers. Looks like a knock-off of the Aputure 100x. Price appears to be $200 USD. The Aputure 100x is $250. Specs are quieter at 25db compared to the Aputure which were measured by other on-line reviewers at 31db. I wonder how color fidelity compares to the Aputure.

Thx for the review !! The stand clip and the dials on this light make strange plastic noise...does not seem sturdy..but the light is nice... on a long run, for the price, i don't trust the durability.

It seems to be well built with good light quality, but I want to know how bad those button/dials feel!! They look bad, but are they unbearable bad, or ok bad??? I need answers!!! 😂
I think I prefer the "Neewer CB100" because it comes with remote control as well and you don't have to remove the hood to install an umbrella. Oh and it's less expensive too. I'm thoroughly impressed and very happy with mine.

Try blocking the window light and turning your colour temp to 3300K. Also put the camera camera white balance to 3300K. This will match the light in the back and make everything less yellow.

Recommended v mount battery for the cl100?
I film weddings and use a Sony A7S III for my main camera. What would you suggest for B and C cams? They would mostly be used for ceremonies and stabilization isn’t required because they would mostly be on tripods. I’m thinking a couple of A7C’s but I’m unsure. I heard the A7C uses the same color science as the A7SIII but haven’t been able to confirm. Thanks for any suggestion you have.

My fuji xt4 preamp sounds terrible i wonder what he does to make it sound so good…. I always get the little hissing noise.
I'm using that Sennheiser mke400 mic with +20db. Use any mic with a +20db feature and it'll sound way better.
