It's not frowned upon in that industry. It's encouraged. Honestly idk why steroids have such a bad reputation. I get that they turn you into a gorilla and completely destroy your liver... but alcohol does the same thing (with zero benefits) and they advertise that shit on tv...

Here's a perfect example: Nick Angel in a lock-and-load montage alongside John Wick, Neo, John Matrix, John Rambo and the Doom Slayer himself fits absolutely perfectly. Except Nick's the only one of them whose action scene resulted in exactly ZERO deaths. That's how badass Nick Angel is, and that's how awesome Hot Fuzz is.
