Firstly addiction is not an easy thing to simply choose to not do, secondly it you can’t afford food and somewhere to live a £20 bag of heroin will warm you up, stop your hunger, and make you forget how dire your situation is. Unless any of us have been in that position we don’t know what choice we would make.
@@lurekayaklrf again, priorities. All the bleeding hearts giving them money, blankets, food, etc., are only making the problem worse. You can't help someone more than they are willing to help themself. ANYTHING you do to make their street lives more comfortable just perpetuates the problem.
I think if people give up the booze and go with jesus the church can really help you turn things around in life. Its awful to think of people dying all cold and sad on the streets
Maybe all churches should open their doors to those in need like these - sell the gold and silver and precious items they have - maybe if the doors were all open at night for those that need it then maybe they could find a need for the church

Most alcoholics do not get drunk. From personal experience. They drink to sleep and suppress the urge, not to get drunk.
It was unfair it really made me angry (armchair angry 😠)!
Because of the camera that was. Plus to stop him drinking it and getting hurt.
