Easily one of my favorite comics, he always killed it at the comedy clubs in New York! I met and talked to him a few times pretty much through promoting comedy clubs in greenwich village and he is very cool and pretty much always in character but he did almost crack once when he laughed at something I said to him. We did talk about how we both love the comedian Steven Wright.
I understand why people might find him a douche bag, but really he has the toughest form of comedy in the world. he HAS to constantly improvise and doesn't flinch for even a split-second. It's not only great comedy but great acting too
i think its social commentary on the trend of US sports leagues, such as MLB and NBA to claim that the team that wins the playoffs is the 'world champion' which is totally ridiculous.

Dude, that's exactly the point of being on late night talk shows. Almost everything on these talk shows are planned in one way or another. Stand-up comedians especially, since they're pushing their own act instead of a movie or something, already know exactly what bits they are gonna do, they just try to present the jokes in more of conservation-like way.

I remember the guy's name-Andy Kaufman.Nobody,Nobody,ever thought he was funny.He died and they canonized him as some sort of genius.He sucked-I lived through that era- he sucked,nobody laughed at his stuff.This guy is the same????
I'm not really finding this whole "World Champ" thing very funny. I'd much prefer if he came on and did a bit on being the world's biggest advocate for nutritious eating and veganism. "This bottle weighs 87 pounds" is just not funny. He's one HELL of a funny comedy actor. He just needs better and smarter material (like he gets on 30 Rock).
