A Stunning WW1 Military Cross (MC) Medal Grouping to 'LT. J. A . LORIMER' The 5/ 6th Battalion Royal Scots.A lovely grouping here with a full research package and original documentation consisting of a 20 page portfolio. A wonderful group and MC citation (and many other documents!) for a very brave and persistent group of military battle actions with many casualties to officers and men, the taking of hundreds of German prisoners and field/ machine guns. This is by no means an ordinary MC medal grouping and the reasons for its award are truly outstanding.
