- One of the artifacts is from the war of 1812 to boot !
I was at a cellar hole of an old homesite out in the New England woods metal detecting relic hunting. I turned on my Fisher F19 and swung for 30 mins before finding anything. Others have been digging here and cleaned out right around the cellar hole. So I moved over a bit into the brush and grow back and there it all was. Button after button and real easy signals to find. Whoever was here before did not swing their detector in the grow back. So I pulled out a button with an eagle and anchor on it from the war of 1812 which made the day awesome. A little exploring, landscape history, artifacts and the proper way to find old stuff.

Nothing gets me excited like a “button” lol. I absolutely love ‘em. Flat, tombac, eagles, silver, cast, southern, northern, 2-piece, gold, roached, dull, shiny, green patina, broken, perfect….. doesn’t matter, I love ‘em all the same ❤
Love the sounds of the huge pileated woodpeckers in the woodland. Congratulations on the finds that others missed.
I'd just like to say how much I like your guys stuff..it mirrors my style up here in N.W. WI. .even the woodpecker soundtrack...just not quite as old...but overgrown long gone peoples and history...logging, clearing farmsteads and eeking out an Immigrants existence...proud people looking for better or at least more freedoms
That squeak from a Fisher or Teknetics machine at 10:19 mark always gets the ❤ pumping!!!!
BUT-TONS ! ! Nice call on the place to detect. Congratulations Charlie on this Not Thursday. Joyce ❤️🙏🇺🇸
There's a great day off bush whacking for history!

Great hunt! Great woodpecker!
The camera is great! Hd for sure
miles from nowhere, and some turkey is stalking you while the wood peckers are practicing their coding. Meanwhile DC is snagging buttons. Awesome way to spend a Not Thursday

Awesome hunt for sure. You just never know. Thanks for sharing!!!
Your brushy stuff appears to be mountain laurel, should be blooming shortly, lots of pink and white flowers.

Nice hunt. Certainly some satisfaction there.
Thank you Charlie for the adventure and seeing some nice finds especially the Eagle button !

What adventure we going to have today Charlie 😊
Awsome hunt Charlie !!!
" the turning root" Great song title.
If the woodpeckers could get organized, the percussion would be great! As always, experience and persistence pays off. Big win, Charley!

Charlie is channeling Dame today!
I find it interesting that people lost so many buttons in one area 😊
What a great day you had Charlie. Started out disappointing then bam turned out wonderful . Love the video 😊
very good
Wondering what kind of brush is that? Seen it in several of your videos and wondered if it's native? I live in the southwest and we have several types of brush that look similar. Love watching your videos and wish we that kind of history here.
Woody Woodpecker on drums.
When you are walking in those woods, I wonder if the history resonates in your soul? I feel that when I walk our woods. What it would be like to just spend a day with the humans who left their imprints.
❤❤❤
hows that song go like a button off my shirt
Was there writing around that keyhole?
