Only just realized at about 19:13 that the "logs" holding up the roof are actually the log benches from the camping pack! What? That's so creative!
I love using weird items for decorations. I made a gingerbread house and used the rainbow poops from Cats&Dogs to add scaled up to the roof as little peaks of "icing" like when you decorate a real gingerbread house. If you didn't know what the item was meant to be then it really does look like icing.

I love it when people use random thing to do something differently than they were intend and it look fine.

The person that did the waterfalls... how? no seriously, how?? I tried doing it in game and I can't, I can get the item but no way to make the water look like that or have it aligned to it at all... I need a tutorial video on that lot.. just to see how they did it.

When you showed the first one, I thought : "Well that was unfair for the others to show this one first, all the others will look bland after that."

These shell challenge videos have honestly been my most favorite Sim videos to watch. They provide so many decorating ideas. Seeing Kayla's reactions to the stellar creativity of these builds is also very funny.
Kayla: “oh my god this is so good I aspire to build this but I can’t pull it off I’m soooo not good at building”
Me: “umm honey have you seen the shoeboxes I make? EA’s self-esteem goes up when they compare the strangerville buildings to mine

“Are you seeing this?” I honestly lost count at how many times you said it! Pity mine didn’t make the cut but its cool, mine feels so minor in comparison to these you chose!
Omg I lovvvvvve these homes. I thought I was good at making homes and stuff myself but I really needed these ideas. They are literally so cool.
And again...spent more than 20 hours on my shell until it was downloaded hundreds of times and still there are people who are crushing this challenge even more!
I don’t play sims anymore (not yet) but I do enjoy watching these for ideas if I can ever afford to build a custom house on my own. These people are creative and cozy as hell

Every build here is so freekin impressive! I build a mediaval castle a while back (for one of James buildchallenges) it is on the gallery (called 13th century castle) if anyone wants to take a look (missed out on yours this time but Will definetly give it a try next time!!)

How I wished EA would hire some of these incredibly talented people.
The point of the builds is that they’re meant to be able to run on even the worst of computers, so they CANT be incredibly detailed by default or the game won’t run like it should.
Jesus!! I was literally in awe of lilsimie’s like urban build thing like I was genuinely shook at that, and now she’s saying that she’s a bad builder and like, if she’s a bad builder what does that make me omg!,
I always was like “oh it’d be super fun to have lilsimsie’s haircut but I’m not brave enough”
So...
I got a haircut the other day but I guess I wasn’t clear about how I wanted the length of my hair so it was cut way too short

Snaps to all the Simmers she toured. Truly remarkable stuff. I was pikachu meme face the whole time. I can’t imagine the amount of time put into these builds. I’m lucky if I spend 10 minutes in build mode let alone potentially hours. CAS on the other hand. I once spent an entire week, anywhere between 4-8 hours in create a sim for five days just making Sims, I didn’t even play the game that week lol

Wloxya she has a channel called moresimsie where she uploads the streams a few days after they’ve been streamed, it’s not live but it’s still good if you want to watch them!
