- This was our second visit to the beautiful Mountain Stream RV Park near Marion, NC, and it did not disappoint! We had a stream-side campsite and we were able to open our rear bedroom window and fall asleep to the sound of the mountain stream!
In this video we give you our update for Mountain Stream RV Park, featuring the stream side views for some of the empty sites, showing an inside tour of the luxury yurts, and showing the amenities of this campground.
Mountain Stream RV Park is located near the Blue Ridge Parkway, which offers amazing vistas and connects you to many of the Western NC and Tennessee attractions.

Wow what a gorgeous rv park/campground. The mountain stream is wonderful. Great info. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful ❤thanks for the review!
Camp there last fall and it was a beautiful place I'll give it three thumbs up
I loved the sound of the water flowing over the rocks and down the stream!

Sure wish I was laying there listening to that stream tonight! And tomorrow night ... and the next ... LOL I bet you guys are anxious to get back to traveling across the country! (Yes ... I know I'm behind. Still binging your channel. ;) )
YES that stream was amazing! We are going back there next month. BINGE away!
Wow, that is amazing!! I will definitely be staying there! Thanks for sharing!
You will have a good time! Thanks for watching!
I am staying at site 33 (over by the pathway to stream) this coming Friday. So excited. Thanks for the tour before the tour!!! Your little Riley looks very similar to my little fur baby Riley 😊.
Oh wow, you will love it! Make sure to take a swim in the stream... send us a photo of Riley!
Nice video. A really quaint campground. We have a 42' 5th wheel. I think we were in site 24 in Nov 2019... yes definitely tight but certainly doable for the experienced driver. We will be going back to this favorite cg soon. Safe travels. bg
Very good... glad you enjoyed it as much as we did! Be safe on the road!
You guys are awesome! You make such great videos. We plan to stay here this coming weekend because of your video!
Oh I am sure you will have fun! We are going back as well in a couple of weeks ...can't wait! Have a relaxing time!
We had the best time there and were so sad to leave! We could have stayed in that stream all day. Such a relaxing campground! The landscaping is so green, lush, and shady! Plus the sounds of the stream and birds cause for a peaceful sleep.
@@disneydreamerdesi9575 so glad you enjoyed it !!!
We love that place and are heading back next week. Love your videos.
Thanks Mike! We wish we were there now ... the place we are now us hot (no shade) and noisy from nearby traffic! Wish we were back at Mountain Stream!
@@YoungatHeartAdventures Have you all been back since they added the new sites to the right of the entrance? We were there in October and it looked like they were finishing them up...wondering how they compare to the older sites....hope you are well!
@@mikegriffin4456 hi Mike... we are aware of those improvements but no we have not been back since then. If you get there before we do let us know how they are!
@@YoungatHeartAdventures Will do! Safe travels.
I really enjoy your channel. I will be following your journey. We are headed to Asheville in September, and we are staying at Lake Powhatan. While we are there, we will take a drive and check our Mountain Stream. Be safe and enjoy!
Oh you'll have a great time and Asheville in September and should be beautiful. Thanks for watching!
Oh you'll have a great time and Asheville in September and should be beautiful. Thanks for watching!
You should also check out Campfire Lodgings. A small 18 site cg... sites 1-5 or 6 are the only ones we would suggest staying in but they have one of the best views in NC. Safe travels. bg
Oh wow... what a great looking place to stay, some of those RV's looked really close together but the sites on the creek seemed nicely spaced. Could you include the costs, and if full hookups or not in your reviews? Thanks for sharing, I am enjoying your travels.
We paid 65/night for this time of year. All full hookups. They did have nice shrubbery barriers between most sites. We will try to include these details next time thanks for watching!
Beautiful campground and cabins....would love to stay there....just beautiful...were is this place...
In the mountains of Western NC near Marion
Great video and photography…… only annoyance is the background music is a little loud . Hard to hear what they’re saying over the music. Looks like a great trip
Thank you.. we really enjoy that RV park. Sorry about the music 🎶... we try to get it right, but sometimes we miss it.
How would we best get there coming from the Gatlinburg TN area? Considering Staying in a Yurt but concerned about the windy roads you discussed. Can you tube in the river there? Is it safe for kids? Tubes provided? Thank you.
You want to come into Marion NC and from there go North on state rt 80. That is the least windy road. The only other way is to come south on rt 80 from the Blue Ridge Pkwy but that way is ridiculously windy!
I have seen kids tube and swim in the creek but it depends on if the water levels are safe. They do not provide tubes as far as I know. Best to call the office and ask. The stream conditions can change quickly based on rainfall levels. Hope you all have fun !
Big rig friendly?? How are the roads coming in??
Hi we do mention at the end of the video that the roads are pretty twisty and turny coming in and it is not for a first time RVer. That being said there are rigs there of all sizes so shouldn't be a problem as long as you have some experience driving or towing your RV
They don’t mention how hard this is to get into with a big rig , some have been damaged on the way .
Rod..yes I specifically mention that at the end of the video.
