Sir if companies don't have fundamental rights then how could union govt violate article 14(Right to equality) - Regarding selective nationalisation of 14 banks only on the basis of deposits /// 14:20 onwards
Companies do not come within the purview of 'citizens', but they are considered to be juristic persons and hence can claim all those fundamental rights which are available to persons, but not those expressly made available to citizens. Hence, Article 14 would apply in case of companies since the wording goes "The State shall not deny to any *person*..."
Your explanation of violation of article 14 is confusing as you said fundamental rights are not for companies and you said that govt has not given equal treatment to all BANKS is violation of article 14...Kindly Explain.
