This is very hard to ‘ACCEPT’. I don’t know how other people can normally accept such a thing like it’s no big deal. But to me it shows that they take relationships very superficially. They do not have a severe sense of codependency on the other person- like they are a perfect “deity” who is immaculate. They see them as fallible and weak, just like themselves, which makes things less serious. It also comes from a deep lack in someone with OCD because the whole integral identity to be based on a particular value- to be loyal and have integrity, honesty, control, etc. are all basically controlling measures towards life.
I envy people who are able to take this as being completely okay with it- it shows how fulfilled they are in their life, how less of their worth and happiness depends on someone’s love and approval, and how big or more expansive their life and self-fulfillment is, to not have this be a big issue.
I believe the same way someone can accept death, they can accept it too, easily, if they have a pragmatic and rational view on life, and a lot of self-love and acceptance.
In other words, it is socially felt that people come together based on their want, not their value. Like oh, I want this person for myself (for self edification) not really to prove to heavens that they are a good person so that they can end up in heaven in the afterlife. Their mind just does not go there.
It is simple, like I like it and want it for my happiness as an accessory and I have other things to emotionally fulfill my void- like my work and personal chores or hobbies.
Hey Mega - When we are stuck it's easy to focus on 'well I must have it worse' but it's hard to imagine how bad the majority of ROCD cases are that we work with, I'd have to imagine the most severe on earth. I would recommend focusing on your fears and trying to not compare as that's not helpful for yourself.

People are not "completely okay" in the sense of being indifferent. Of course it's going to hurt. But there's acceptance of those negative outcomes too as they don't see life in their complete control and understand things can change.
Hello sir sometime I’m not accept my ocd because sometimes it feel exactly feel
OCD is going to feel very real - which is why we don't focus on whether it's OCD or not that much, we look at our worst case scenario and break that down
