Honestly, they are a gift at $199. For small jobs here and there or even for a single large job they deliver good results. Just requires a little more cleanup without the gas but the welds are strong. Good luck with it. Cheers

Cool. You won't be disappointed. The welding mask that it comes with is crap and will ruin your eyes for sure. Do yourself a favour and buy a decent mask and decent gloves. You don't want to cut corners on PPE. Cheers.
Hey mate, have you ever tried welding aluminium with this? Bought one today with the intention of doing aluminium stuff but cant seem to get anything started. Used ER5356 Aluminium welding wire also.
Hi Aaron, nah mate. Sorry I haven’t used the Ozito for aluminium. I expect it’ll be setup for the wrong polarity for aluminium and not adjustable…..good luck!
Would this work with stainless steel welding wire you think? I'm about to embark on my first welding journey and need to seal a stainless steel fire box that sits inside a hot tub

Yep. I didn’t use the tiny spool that came with the welder. Bunnings had a different 1kg spool on the shelf and I picked that up. Welds really nicely. Good luck with it

I don’t know if you can get stainless steel flux core wire. If so, it would work. If not, I don’t think so
