- I was so baffled, that I HAD to record it.
Gameplay footage was recorded on March 3rd 2017. The original footage had no audio, so everything you hear was edited in.

I'm not 100% sure if this is the same game ID from the recording, but it has many identical looking passes, and the obby itself seems to be identical. At the time, it was just some random obby that I wanted to speedrun because I was bored lol.

The fact that he is so laggy, yet still being able to play and not getting disconnected is crazy.

Actually, the reason why he still moves like a normal player is because the movement is client-side in Roblox. He just has insane ping, so we're just getting really slow updates about his position. The animation speed is probably just a side-effect of that.
yea. its because since the client is getting updates so slow and he's moving so far in the time between the updates, the client thinks he's move way faster than he actually is, leading to sped up animations.

does fps play a factor here? it looks he has bad fps and insane ping
@@topatanimations Fps would influence the lag, but the ping is already very high and I think it's not really possible to find out their fps, however they do avoid obstacles until the first checkpoint, but it only implies a playable fps if health is handled in clientside. (Which I don't think it is, since it would be way too easy to cheat and it doesn't need tactile feedback to inputs like movement.)

his game was running at under 0.25 fps, but it was somehow still running without disconnecting. quite impressive
not even frames per seconds, its seconds per frame
@@Sr1ley pretty much, physics run 4x as fast as frames so for each time he moved, it was a quarter of a frame.

I was playing last corridor (undertale sans vs chara game) and I found a player just like this, there were so laggy they were falling like they had the feather falling effect on and when they actually loaded into the map (took 4 minutes) They were not able to be damaged by any attacks.

I also deal with lag in Roblox sometimes the floor will not load in fast enough so I fall to my death also lag can sometimes be helpful in some situations like you can go into rooms or get stuck in a hill so no one can get you ;-;
