Hola Oscar, yes we popped into Alegria, it is nice as well, but we could not find any places accepting Bitcoin.

"Subbed" Just discovered you guys. Great vid. What area/town would you recommend for a new family contemplating moving there and looking for a nice Gated Community? Keep up the great info.

Hi thanks for watching - it really is comes down to what you are looking for, currently we are at the beach in a gated community, this is nice and safe and we can walk to the beach, but it does have its down sides like it is hot and we are not really getting involved in the Salvadoran lifestyle. So we feel we are missing something here. But great for kids and getting your feet on the ground.
As Oscar says below, Berlin is great, nice temperature, and very friendly people. there doesn't seem to be any gated communities there though.
Also depends on what you are after for your children, we recommend when you first arrive to stay close to the city so you can get your residency sorted, purchase a car if thats what you want and do all the necessary things you need to move to a new country.
Then move to the location that suits your family and their needs.
