അമ്പലപ്പുഴ ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണ ക്ഷേത്രം/ Sreekrishna Temple Ambalapuzha/ഭാരതത്തിലെ പ്രധാനപ്പെട്ട വൈഷ്ണവ ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നാണ് . പാർഥസാരഥി രൂപത്തിലുള്ള വിഗ്രഹമാണെങ്കിലും വാസുദേവ സങ്കല്പത്തിൽ ആരാധന നടക്കുന്നു എന്ന മറ്റെങ്ങുമില്ലാത്ത പ്രത്യേകത ഇവിടുണ്ട് .Though the idol is that of Parthasarathi, worship is in the concept of Vasudeva/ Gopala. This is the uniqueness of the temple. The world famous AMBALAPUZHA PALPAYASAM is the major offering here. ലോകപ്രശസ്തമായ അമ്പലപ്പുഴ പാൽപായസം ഇവിടത്തെ ഏറ്റവും പ്രധാന നിവേദ്യമാണ് . ഇവിടെ മാത്രം പാചകം ചെയ്യതാലേ പായസം പൂർണതയിലെത്തൂ എന്ന് വിശ്വാസം .വിഗ്രഹത്തിന്റെയും , പായസത്തിന്റെയും ഐതീഹ്യങ്ങൾ പ്രദിപാതിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു .പ്രസാദമായ പായസം ഒരു മരുന്നായി സേവിക്കാവുന്നതാണു് ( അതിനാൽ ഗോപാല കഷായം എന്നും അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു ).ക്ഷിപ്ര പ്രസാദിയായ ഭഗവാന്റെ തിരുനടയിലെത്തി പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കു .സർവ്വാഭീഷ്ടദായകനാണ് അമ്പലപ്പുഴ കണ്ണൻ .

ക്ഷേത്ര ദർശനം നടത്തുമ്പോൾ ഓരോ ക്ഷേത്രവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട എത്ര എത്ര ഐതിഹ്യങ്ങൾ ഇഴ ചേർന്ന് നിൽക്കുന്നു എന്ന് മനസ്സിലാക്കാൻ കഴിയും. ഇനിയും അമ്പലപ്പുഴ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ ദർശനം നടത്തുമ്പോൾ ഈ വിഡിയോയിൽ പറഞ്ഞ പല കാര്യങ്ങളും മനസ്സിലേക്ക് ഓടിയെത്തും. ചമ്മട്ടിയും പാഞ്ചജന്യവും ഏന്തിയ പാർത്ഥ സാരഥി ഗോശാല കൃഷ്ണനായ വാസുദേവനായി നമുക്ക് ദർശനം നൽകുന്നു. ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങൾ ഒരുകാലത്തു കല സാഹിത്യം ഇവയുടെ വിളനിലമായിരുന്നു. തുള്ളൽ പ്രസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ ഉപജ്ഞാതാവായ കലക്കത്തു കുഞ്ചൻ നമ്പ്യാർ ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ ചാക്യാർ കുത്തിനു മിഴാവ്‌ വായിച്ചിരുന്നു. ആക്ഷേപ ഹസ്യസാഹിത്യത്തിനും തുള്ളൽ എന്ന കലാരൂപത്തിന്റെ ഉൽപ്പത്തിയും ഈ ക്ഷേത്ര സന്നിധിയിലായിരുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹം ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരുന്ന മിഴാവും നമുക്കെവര്ക്കും ആനന്ദം നൽകുന്നു. ഗുരുവായൂർ നട നാട്യ ശാല അമ്പലപ്പുഴ പാൽപ്പായസം എല്ലാം ഭക്തന്മനസ്സിൽ പതിഞ്ഞു നിൽക്കത്തക്ക വിധം വ്യക്തമായി ഘന ഗംഭീരമായി ഭക്തി പൂർവ്വം പ്രതിപാദി ച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. ഇത് കണ്ടുകഴിയുമ്പോൾ അറിയാതെ നാമും വിളിക്കുന്നു വാസുദേവാ
