From what I know, all the safety features are common in the base variant as well. It's the luxury features that are more in the upper variants. Of course, 6 Airbags excluded.

No in the highline variant you don't get a fully digital instrument cluster instead you will be getting a semi digital instrument cluster and no sun roof and no ventilated seats and 1.5 engine.... But you will get a 1.0 turbocharged engine which is the best in 1 litre engines ... And the remaining are the same.., you get, keyless entry, automatic climate control, rear climate control.., etc... I have a highline , it really gave me a great drivability and user experience ❤

Quality my foot! The newer VAG group cars are nothing like the older models. As a JETTA owner, I got a Virtus last week to replace its role as a primary car. The quality issues on the interior front are so pathetic, it makes me regret not going for the Honda City. The cost cutting on the inside is beyond ridiculous and to me, I’m planning to sell the car and it’s not even been a week.

@@Account-nx3ui it ain't ancient my guy, it was made in 2004 and we bought it in 2016 17ish. And airbags were invented in the 70s so I'm sure a lot of cars had them especially if they wanted people to buy their car.

Yes. You should...its a 3 cylinder so obviously its less reliable and on the top of it its a turbo that means engine life reduces much faster. This same engine was in polo, vento and others which had problems of engine block cracks and many many engine failures.

@@vikk_konni0009 bro changing into a manual from a automatic is a very bad idea even experts recommend not to do it and also it is not really possible to do it.
Dsg issues after 2016 are very minimal and let me tell you these gearbox issues are with dct and other companies gearboxes but everyone ignores them and spreads fake propaganda against VW .
Is slavia a comparable alternative? They have a lot of everyday conveniences that VW missed for some reason as you mentioned in your Virtus review last year.

True but no Hybrid/ Diesel option .
Although the car is quite capable in every parameters, but the air conditioner performance is not adequate for indian summers when temperature are around 45 degrees Celsius. Not at all acceptable from a brand which had launched so many cars in India now. I had Vento 1.6 diesel but air conditioner performance was not adequate, sadly same is the case with this newly launched and made for indian conditions car. Ownership reviews are filled with this one and only problem.

Hi Fais ! The VW virtus is 4mm + in width compared to Honda city ! But y rear seat comfort for 3 passanger is better in city ? If i have shortlisted City & virtus for Comfort and saftey which one should i go for wats your suggestion

The VW's 1.0 tsi is so much inferior, underpowered and unrefined than Honda's 1.5 I-VTEC.
Just look at the horsepower figures of both the engines then talk.
1.5 I-VTEC does 0-100 kmph in 9.5 secs, whereas 1.0 tsi does it in 11 secs.
Also the 1.0 TSI vibrates a lot, lacks the high end punch and cannot revv past 6500 rpm.
In Autocar track day 2021, Honda City was faster in completing a lap by 1 sec than your so-called performance oriented shitty Polo!
Both the cars were of manual transmission and were driven by F1 driver Narain Kartikeyan. You can watch that video on RUclips yourself, you blind piece of shit!
Hence, it is concluded that the Honda City 5th gen has even better driving dynamics than a Volkswagen Polo, period.
City with 1.5 I-VTEC manual transmission is a more performance oriented car with good enough fuel economy and excellent steering and driving dynamics, classy looks,, something which the VAG twins with 1.0 tsi cannot provide.
Only the VW cars with 1.5 TSI are worth buying, otherwise the Honda City is just a car with better engine, reliability, part quality and is cheaper, making it more value for money!
