Those were the easy holes! I have just joined the RND and it is a completely different type of course to the hilly, tree-lined courses I have been playing in Bristol since I took up the game seriously about 4 years ago. Have got down to 15 but am hanging on by the skin of my teeth after a month here! A great challenge every time I go out, very friendly club, loads going on. Come and play it in the summer when the ball runs on a lot more. Fun video, I like the cut of your jib!
Thank you for taking with you guys to play golf. You guys are a blast. For a minute I felt like Mark shooting the video...hahaha. I think my accent just changed....hahaha.
lovely course enjoy seeing the different golf courses your playing. and as a new player in the game is fun to see your different approaches to the holes. have followed you through almost a year, daily. looked old and new through and have to say. You have been whole lot better to control the equipment. the very rapid and amateurish movements are almost gone. Missing just to gain full control over the sound. but it comes with equipment and experience. I learn a lot from your video's. both the entertaining and lessons, so I will continue to follow you here from Denmark of.
Another great vlog. Mark, is that a Versa 9 or the Versa 330m? I think the only difference is the amount of toe hang but I'd be interested to know which you use. If we're doing requests, I'd love to see you play round Saunton, maybe in the summer though. Keep it up.
Brought back some great memories, used to be a country member at Saunton GC and played is a few Bideford Bay comps, a round at each course. Do they still have the local rule at RND about your ball coming to rest in/on/amongst one of the many "gifts" left by the sheep on the course?
Now that you've played Royal North Devon, you should come to the Wimbledon Common and play the the 2nd oldest course in England. London Scottish GC is 150 years old with fast greens and loads of trees! RUclips gold guaranteed.
Another great vlog guys.....beautiful course and area.......what is the average temp when you guys play on winter days like this....it looks a little colder than ideal for sure
Hi Mark. What's it like playing with the winter gloves on?? I'm not sure in buying some as i think it wouldn't feel right on the grip!! If possible could you review a pair or two? Cheers mate keep up the good work.
If you decide to nominate yourself for a Webby award, this has to be the video used. It has classic Crossfield all over it. 1. Matt loses a ball over the back of the green 2. Twitchard hits a ball 80 yds right and makes eagle, saving Matt and bugging Mark 3. Buzza has a classic rant about Justin Rose and fairways 4. Dog steals Crossfield's golf ball
haha im just sittin here in my wheelchair with a big smile from the start to the end. love it, some happiness when you are in a wheelchair all day. (only for four months, surgery)
Mark Crossfield Holy cow! And I guess it's still the golfer's fault if one of them idiots gets hit by a ball right? Who in their right mind would be taking a walk downrange from where little white balls are coming from at over 100mph? Sounds totally crazy to me.
why the bloody hell are these playing vids so entertaining? Answer: It's nice to watch good players play, but also non touring pros, so we see mistakes. They are having fun. This will kill the golf channel
if i get penalized in the future for hitting the 'wrong' fairway - then can we have a penalty shot for terriers moving your ball Mark??? just asking :)
It looked like blockeys drive on the 3rd hit one of them sheep... Lol their jokling about it on twitchards shot but that blockey drive really did hit a sheep
The whole of the UK is covered by public footpaths. These are ancient rights of way often many hundreds of years old whereby people have the right to walk these paths. Despite being the oldest course in England, the paths were there first and the course designers have to work around them. Again, the farmers may have ancient rights to graze sheep on that land. Some courses have little wire fences around them to protect them from sheep. Very few courses, especially heathland and links ones are completely fenced in. Fences are ugly. Planning permission wouldn't be granted.
Glad your not using a rubbish taylormade anymore mark!! dont sell your soul for the machine!! ping are far better. far better than the other golf youtubers #crossfieldclan
that's awesome, all the wildlife on the course makes it a classic,
What a unique looking golf course!
Great vid boys!
thanks

Love it...one of my favourite courses. Now it gets interesting!!!
Great old course RND. Great blog as usual.
I secondly request a review of the winter double gloves. Great job.
lovely course

Impressive James. As usual.
Did Mark get dressed in the dark?
Been looking forward to this!!!

is it just me or is there some edge shots missing from the 1st hole
that´s how golf should be played! sheep, people, and everybody happy!
Wow mark you do love to where every colour of the rainbow
Are you colour confused?
I'm a member down there when did you guys play??

Please tell me you have tried watching this video with the subtitles on, it is hilarious!
Hilarious,Mark says,"how did that not go in?",Twitchards reply,"because it was the wrong line and weight".
Ha ha so true
haha im just sittin here in my wheelchair with a big smile from the start to the end. love it, some happiness when you are in a wheelchair all day. (only for four months, surgery)
Not good, what's happened?
jimbojett1 im in the swedish army, injured my foot there...
Didn't mean to like that!! How did you do that?
Love it!
mark, noticed james was using the new oddysey works blade putter. how is he liking the putter? dont beleive theyve been released in canada yet
Old never compromise designed to look like callaway works, that is coming in a couple weeks
Sorry Mark it was one of our dogs that nicked your ball. Hope you enjoyed the course we enjoyed your video.
Typically British, not a thought for others, no dogs on a lead and sheep present not to mention golfers.
4:53 Look at the size of them Swiss Rolls!!!
Mark, is it common there to play around herds of sheep? Lol, I'm from the states, but I have never seen that before, not even in your videos!
That’s not an issue problem is the idiots who don’t have their dogs on leads when animals are present
Mark's first drive scared the shit out of that sheep.
#UKlinkswildlife
Do the sheep constitute hazards?
Great vlog guys! I'd be worried about hitting the sheep though 😂
You should play in Australia and try to miss the kangaroos!
#eagletastic...thanks guys
can you bring your own dog to the course as you play?
Buzza it looks like someone has slashed your jacket at rear at 6.49!! Get Parfield to buy you a new one mate!!
why were their sheep on the course? and random people walking with dogs?
public land. #classicUKlinks
Sometimes there are wild horses wandering around as well .
Mark Crossfield Has anyone ever picked up your ball on one of these links courses?
No. Apart from that dog on the 1st. Comp days this course is not got the walkers on it.
Mark Crossfield Holy cow! And I guess it's still the golfer's fault if one of them idiots gets hit by a ball right?

This will kill the golf channel
I'd rather watch a Crossfield vlog while having my short and curlies plucked than watch Morning Drone or Big Bore: Wherever.
0:43 watch out for the pig hazard. Stroke and distance on that
Be great if you could play Bude and north cornwall cg
we will see if we can get down there
Mark Crossfield How about you come over and play in the States?
Todd Berdnier come down under, that would be good
A copulation of things we've hit !
lockeys tee shot on the 3rd hit the sheep and went back in the bunker
Great Video Mark. by the way: what is the course-rule when you hit or kill a sheep? :-)
If you do that you have to cook the roast
Well - I do! Please invite me for a round. I'll shoot the sheep and do the rest.
if i get penalized in the future for hitting the 'wrong' fairway - then can we have a penalty shot for terriers moving your ball Mark??? just asking :)
Baby James!
Ha ha it's making a comeback
The animals at 22:01
those poor creatures!
I take it Lockey never participates in East Devon's Medals?
Why?
#posturegiven
Pretty sure that Lockey hit a sheep on the third!
When are you playing Royal Tarlair Golf Club?
#buzzstab at 27:37 mark :D
Lockey long ball looks like a cross between the milk tray man and Benny off of Crossroads......
Mark, are the sheep friendly?
22:00 "Aw, it's right in it." Indeed. Right in the sheep's rear end.
Always liked watching your videos Mark! Just started up our channel! Hoping to build it.... MAYBE, you could take a look.... That would be great!
Look like Matt hit that sheep!!!!
Sheep on the holes. Must be in NZ
Thinking too much Buzz....stood over that last putt way too long. Size it up, strike your pose, 1,2, strike. #success
before watching my money is on pickard /lockey...
Good choice #orisit
The puff ball on Matt's hat looks way too big
Do you get to lift clean and place your ball if it lands in a pile of sheep dip??? LOL
It's a must.........otherwise you would be penalised for playing a ball in motion!!!!!
It looked like blockeys drive on the 3rd hit one of them sheep... Lol their jokling about it on twitchards shot but that blockey drive really did hit a sheep
does matt get to forfeit the second hole for practicing on the course lmao watch out for the steaming tees
That looks like one boring course a field with 18 flags!
Lockey has the look of a serious sheep worrier
Thanks God it was only sheeps walking around and not bulls, otherwise Mark would have been running for his life instead of playing....hahaha.
