I used to have this problem when I couldn't start running right away, my legs just moved above the ground with the binka-binka-binka noise for several seconds. Terrible thing to happen in a sprinter race.
It is! It's so "tight" it's why I quit watching this idiotic Disney show. It was literally the same stupid thing over and over! Mando has side quest. Mando gets in turrible situation - is he gonna die?!!? Nope - it turns out to be barely an inconvenience... On to the next side quest!
That 2 minute tangent just to end up saying "using my garbage can as a bathroom is TIGHT!!" was sooooo worth it!! Best Pitch meeting so far, keep up the good work Ryan!!
@tconlon251 "No no no, its about other people and we periodically show boba fett." "Won't people be mad that they were lied to?" "Not if we give them grogu and luke cgiwalker." "Oh, fun."
“So then he snaps a child’s neck, slaughters a bunch of innocents and drags Obi-Wan through flames” “You do realize this is for disney + right?” “Wait wasn’t this for HBO?” “Oh crap, when does it release again? maybe we have time to change it” “It releases tomorrow” “DAMMIT!”
Amazingly it wasn’t. I was working for the mouse in retail at the time and we had NOTHING for months because they’d done so well at keeping the secret of Grogu that they kept it from merchandising as well. I suspect there were some rather epic phone calls after that.
I think that Disney didn't think the show was going to do as well as it did. Notice how there were practically NO tie-ins to any other Star Wars IP until the dark saber shows up at the very end. I think this was originally going to be a Boba Fett story but they changed it during pre-production to just "The Mandalorian" because they weren't sure it would do well. Then it ended up doing SO well that they tried to slip Boba Fett back into it.
All the great and smart jokes aside, what makes me appreciate Ryan very much is that whenever I thought he's at his best, somehow he manages to surpass himself constantly, pushing the quality even higher and surprises me with unexpected brillant details every time.
The deep-dive into Producer Guy's expanding money powers was fascinating. Can't wait for them to have a whole movie about how money saved him from the situation that killed his mom and trained him up to get revenge on the antagonist by bleeding them dry.
And then the reveal in a prequel that your money power is generated by the interaction of tiny crypto-coins in your body's cells with the Federal Reserve
Amazing how we went from a fine but plain and linear satire of ilogical behaviour of movie producers to a mind blowing Ryanverse full of metareferences and lateral thinking. Definetely this episode is the Shrek of Pitch Meetings, sooooo many layers.
The lack of initial merchandising really helped them hide the surprise twist of a baby Yoda at the end of the first episode... until about 3 minutes after the episode went live and screenshots of the final scene flooded social media.
Meanwhile now I own two 3D printed Baby Yodas, a crocheted baby yoda, and a baby yoda ears hat, all Etsy gifts from that holiday season. Makers were eating well for a while there
My freaking God, that has been the best pitch meeting ever. The side quest, the dollar signs and "that's my creed" had me in tears. Thank you so much for making my day😀
Producer guy's genuine utter idiotic glee when he recognizes that a thing is from another thing he knows is so fucking funny every time. Such a concise and scathing indictment of the general public lol I'm here for it
06:23 I like that Pitch Guy has started saying "Hey, shut up!" very fast before immediately continuing his pitch, it's like a version of him telling Producer Guy to get off his back (I've decided).
Wonderful! Please do Top Gun: Maverick. Don't tell a soul, but your pitch meetings are far, far more entertaining than most of the movies they are about. All good wishes, Ryan.
Considering the majority are for good/great movies/series... wrong. Not that I don't love these videos and some of the best ones are for bad movies, but it's just a fact.
I can’t believe that I got so wrapped up in the emotional stakes of Mando taking his helmet off at the bad guy HQ that it’s only now that Ryan pointed it out that I realize the scan itself doesn’t quite make sense 😂🤣.
@@corruptangel6793 wtf? That's very different than being forced to break his creed in a room filled with enemies. Then being forced to sit with one at a table.
@@Lord_Arcann really? I thought he wasn't supposed to show anyone his face. How is revealing his face to a computer scanner worse and more emotional/tense than showing it off to an entire village?
@@Lord_Arcann Doesn't matter. He clearly wasn't worried or just didn't care if one or more just happened to turn and look his way. So why should he care if the people in that req room happened to turn and catch a glimpse of him? Because they're his enemies? I didn't realize his creed specified his enemies when saying not to let *anyone* see him.
I feel for producer guy. Sometimes when I'm not paying attention to where I'm walking I miss a change in elevation and just walk out onto air. But once I realize I'm there and can't defy physics, I look down at the ground below me, look forward, and then drop down. But I've come to accept that my body and mind taking a few seconds to acknowledge gravity is okay. I just need to avoid walking on very high cliffs or skyscraper roofs.
I too suffer from a similar situation. Personally, it is usually when I am being chased after upsetting someone who wants to hurt me. I find that I can quickly, and without any prior experience, paint a tunnel into the side of a wall. Even knowing it's a painting I am able to then run through the tunnel. My pursuer, however, immediately runs into a brick wall because it is just a painting.
Wait, you guys have similar problem as I do… Like, whenever I smell food that’s too good of a smell, my nose started sniffing on it’s own and pointing to the direction of the smell… But if I keep sniffing, my eyes started to shut and I actually float and flew to the food direction…. "nowadays"? This was way worse in the past, where you had to watch characters go out of the house, into a car and drive onto the street and watch for a minute until we finally get the next scene :D nowadays, it's much better. But yes, weird exposition lines in conversations are still a thing, I just think it got so much better than it was before
I love the idea of these characters having their own side stories and development on this new channel. I feel like this is stuff that wasn’t possible before but now you’re free to explore all kinds of new territory!!
You know this was a pretty good commentary on how difficult it can be as a patient to get doctors to believe/understand your condition if their initial diagnoses are unable to detect anything.
They wanted to pitch a Boba Fett show. But Disney said Boba is dead, come up with a new character. So they made Mando instead. Then it got so popular, Disney had to bring Boba back from the Sarlacc Pit.
One of my favorite movies growing up was “Logans Run”. No one is allowed to live over 30 years old and they live in bubble cities. A pitch meeting for that would be hysterical.

@@shanklygates909 Wow wow wow... Wow. This did not occur to me and I'm so disappointed in myself. 😂
Producer Guy’s journey helped me cope with my struggle of floating in the air when I smell a delicious pie.
OH, delicious pies are TIGHT!
😂🤣
I still battle everyday with not sticking to the ground at first when I wanna walk down slopes...then a few seconds later gravity hits 😪
I used to have this problem when I couldn't start running right away, my legs just moved above the ground with the binka-binka-binka noise for several seconds. Terrible thing to happen in a sprinter race.
Be careful. Stay away from family guy's pie. Those are aggressive.
“With arms wide open” I died. These just get better and better. Great work Ryan!
@Alfheimr because I’m old AF and know all the songs by heart 😂
I had to watch that and laugh out loud like seven times … that’s my Creed lol
Secretly my favorite joke of the video, my late 90's heart made a little backflip
Right? Chock full of moments like this.
So what was this joke about? ^^`
A side quest in a pitch meeting about a show about side quests is tight!
It is! It's so "tight" it's why I quit watching this idiotic Disney show. It was literally the same stupid thing over and over! Mando has side quest. Mando gets in turrible situation - is he gonna die?!!? Nope - it turns out to be barely an inconvenience... On to the next side quest!
I came down here to make a comment but I need to go to a place, talk to a guy and get a thing first.
That 2 minute tangent just to end up saying "using my garbage can as a bathroom is TIGHT!!" was sooooo worth it!!
Best Pitch meeting so far, keep up the good work Ryan!!
It wasn't a tangent. It was a side quest.
This is gonna be epic. Looking forward to the Obiwan Kenobi pitch meeting…
Nothing wrong with this series (Mandalorian), so I expect them to just stare at each other for 8 minutes
@tconlon251 "No no no, its about other people and we periodically show boba fett."
"Won't people be mad that they were lied to?"
"Not if we give them grogu and luke cgiwalker."
"Oh, fun."
“So then he snaps a child’s neck, slaughters a bunch of innocents and drags Obi-Wan through flames”
“You do realize this is for disney + right?”
“Wait wasn’t this for HBO?”
“Oh crap, when does it release again? maybe we have time to change it”
“It releases tomorrow”
“DAMMIT!”
Reading these attempts at comedy makes you appreciate Ryan so much more.
The number of times the Kenobi pitch meeting is gonna have the lines: "but why?" "So the show can happen!" Is gonna be great
The producer guy’s reaction to hearing about the idea of a Baby Yoda is probably exactly the same as the merchandising team at Disney
Not really, Lucasfilm & Disney VASTLY under-rated the toys, clothing, IP $$$ by the character. 💰
Amazingly it wasn’t. I was working for the mouse in retail at the time and we had NOTHING for months because they’d done so well at keeping the secret of Grogu that they kept it from merchandising as well. I suspect there were some rather epic phone calls after that.
They infamously missed the boat during that holiday season and even had the nerve to shut down Etsy people who were picking up the slack.
Congratulations, you got the joke! Thankx for explaining it!
I want to know more about Producer Guy’s urge to buy Canada
And then the reveal in a prequel that your money power is generated by the interaction of tiny crypto-coins in your body's cells with the Federal Reserve
and then he meets Screenwriter guy who becomes his sidekick

We need “Pitch Meeting: The Movie.”
Amazing how we went from a fine but plain and linear satire of ilogical behaviour of movie producers to a mind blowing Ryanverse full of metareferences and lateral thinking. Definetely this episode is the Shrek of Pitch Meetings, sooooo many layers.
My brain recognizes all those things from stuff!
I understood that reference
it's more like the dark souls of gta fan films
Love how it just turned into a psychological drama in the first 5 minutes
I was laughing through the whole Producer Guy sidequest.
“He’s from all of it!” That line nearly killed my gf and me. Had to pause while we laughed so hard we actually choked.
Haha, same, that was the best line for me too.
Team Snort, unite!
Yeah man that line killed me 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Was looking for a comment like this, it's just genius.
That's a little dramatic, lmao.
The lack of initial merchandising really helped them hide the surprise twist of a baby Yoda at the end of the first episode... until about 3 minutes after the episode went live and screenshots of the final scene flooded social media.
Better than half a year before.
Lol! Shoulda gone with the money
Meanwhile now I own two 3D printed Baby Yodas, a crocheted baby yoda, and a baby yoda ears hat, all Etsy gifts from that holiday season. Makers were eating well for a while there
That side quest was TIGHT! Producer guy gained a few levels, definitely worth it!
Until I read your comment I did not get the meta-content - making fun of a show that is endless sidequests by adding a sidequest to PM.
@@PaulRWorthington I just realised it until I read your comment. I think Ryan did the same with lens flare for Star Trek pitch meeting
Such a concise and scathing indictment of the general public lol I'm here for it
“HES FROM ALL OF IT”
Almost as good as 'THAT'S THE NAME OF THE MOVIE!'
The Creed thing hit me completely unguarded, brought almost tears to my eyes. I am going to listen to them right now.
Yeah, that was beautiful.
I didn't get it can you explain?

I was NOT ready for that. I re-watched it several times.
06:23 I like that Pitch Guy has started saying "Hey, shut up!" very fast before immediately continuing his pitch, it's like a version of him telling Producer Guy to get off his back (I've decided).
Best new catchphrase and I actually saw it coming which made me laugh even harder
As a person whom works in mental health and has done groups I endorse the progress made during session kudos to Ryan and his many personalities
The side story character development for producer guy was something I never knew I needed until I received it.
…but the real story is the money he made along the way
That transition from hey shut up to him talking about the other mandolorians was so smooth I almost missed it. 😂
Idk how he so effortlessly made “hey shut up” into a catchphrase but damned if he didnt
Second episode to use the phrase.

The collaboration between the Pitch Meeting channel and Ryan George’s channel was TIGHT!
The cross over we need
He's from the other *channel*!
man, recognising Ryan's skits in this Pitch Meeting is so rewarding. So proud of him :'D
I can’t believe that I got so wrapped up in the emotional stakes of Mando taking his helmet off at the bad guy HQ that it’s only now that Ryan pointed it out that I realize the scan itself doesn’t quite make sense 😂🤣.
Emotional stakes? He took off his helmet to eat in front of an open window in the middle of a village in season 1.
@@corruptangel6793 Nobody from the village saw him he was eating in private
I just need to avoid walking on very high cliffs or skyscraper roofs.
that's like cartoon logic, "you don't fall until you look down"
I too suffer from a similar situation.
Do any of you guys like spontaneously generate a halo of birds & stars when you get bonked on the head real good? Is that normal? 🐦💫🐦
Do your eyes pop insanely far out of your head when you realise too?
Wait, you guys have similar problem as I do… Like, whenever I smell food that’s too good of a smell, my nose started sniffing on it’s own and pointing to the direction of the smell… But if I keep sniffing, my eyes started to shut and I actually float and flew to the food direction…. What are these phenomenon…?
The money signs after the mention of Baby Yoda was just pure genius. Perfectly describes Disney executives.
lol no. If it were they'd be making GOOD unwoke content and raking in tons of money. Today money apparently is MUCH less important than "the message".
@@sirellyn So Disney IS NOT making a ton of money, right? What kind of alternative universe are you from? One that they didn't make 14.6 billion in the first quarter alone (up from 12.7 last year).
@@danilolimadossantos1 Oh yes please congratulate Disney on LOSING over 7% after inflation is added in.
Meanwhile even SMALL unwoke sources are making 2-3 times their last years amount.
@@sirellyn , they are getting money though, mostly from Blackrock investment slush funds which to a corporate executive looks the same as actual profits. But Blackrock demands wokily woke product, and when the Blackrock slush money runs out, watch those corporations start flipping back to caring about actual profits.
@@genkibob It's the ESG scores more specifically. And those are certainly a core evil of this all.
Disney also knows it's still loosing money. It will get a bit short term but understand it will lose a lot longer term. Right now the bigger battle is the battling the woke cultists inside the company right now.
I don't comment much on youtube, but this here was an ingenious bit of comedy. Pitch meetings are already some of the funniest things in the internet, but I do believe that this episode was the best episode of pitch meetings yet. This was the most Ryan George-y pitch meeting ever and I loved it. I would love to see more of that kinda stuff
The length of time spent on Producer Guy's existential crisis about his dollar sign eyes had me rolling! Amazing!

I loled so much at this one. 👏🏻 Guys 👏🏻
thumbs down, the best
I loved how he mentioned Luke with a "freakin".
He truly is from all of it. 😂
The fact that you spent 2:30 minutes on money eyes shows me that moving this to its own channel was worth it.
I love how Ryan transitions so smoothly and fast from the meeting to doctor appointment to therapy to group therapy assuming that we are not dumb and will understand what’s going on, unlike most media nowadays.
His trust of our comedic brains is such an honor
Show, don’t tell
That confused me. Add a voice over so I know what's going on. I was also part of the test audience for Blade Runner. So I know what I'm talking about.

I usually only like Pitch Meetings for shows and movies that I have watched or am interested in watching, but this was awesome, side quest and all.
They should have left fat, old, bald Boba in the pit.
Is that a theory or is that confirmed?
Boba should have stayed dead. That was such an awful show.
I heard this too. Apparently they also wanted to use IG88 but disney said no so they made up IG11
One of my favorite movies growing up was “Logans Run”. No one is allowed to live over 30 years old and they live in bubble cities. A pitch meeting for that would be hysterical.
I want him to do The Exorcist
Great film. My brother wanted to show me the comedy Free Enterprise, but felt I should see Logan's Run to understand the references. Suffice to say I enjoyed Logan's Run more than he expected
