So I impulsively started a Print on Demand Store at RedBubble after watching this... I was impulsive and rushed, and normally, I would think it through. But, you know what, I think it's a good thing I started recklessly because if I hesitated, again, and just dream of starting, I might never start at all. Now that I have started and already put in a lot of time setting it up, I don't have an excuse in not pushing through. All I can do now is continue. Your videos are an inspiration, Sarah. They are both informative and a goal to strive for. Every time I watch, I always get motivated to work for the goals I want to achieve. Thank you.

Gimp is an open source alternative to photoshop and it is not terribly hard to use. You can also do a lot of stuff in MS Paint that has been in Windows since Win95. You can do almost all you need to do except make a transparent background, so I have been going back and forth between MS Paint and Gimp as I improve learning how to use Gimp. You could edit a photo in MS Paint and make the background completely white and it is very easy to open that finished photo in Gimp and just make the white background transparent.

..... I believe I made a rookie blunder, and I was notified at 3:30am that my Red bubble account has been suspended. I reached out to them but I'm not sure they will get back to me. Of course I checked to see if any and all photos I used would not infringe on copyright laws, and I'm certainly over the age of 16 years old. Haha!!! Am i cut off of using Red bubble indefinitely? In the email they sent me, it stated do not attempt to open up a new account.
Do i need a registered business(with VAT ID number) to sell on printify, shopify, redbubble, etsy and all the other platforms that u ar talking about?

My experience with RedBubble wasn’t great because they kept rejecting a drawing I made, even though I removed all the identifying logos from it (it was a motorcycle drawing of a BMW GS). I probably could have changed it a bit until they stopped bugging me, but I gave up. I’m going to give them a second chance 😊
THIS vid was critical to my getting my Red Bubble niche rolling. Your suggestion of editing every pic even if it's public domain is essential to a variety of ideas I have had on Hold! Your duplicate Wiki page had a important phrase that backs up your statements: Prohibits the sale of Unaltered Copies!!! HooRahhh I am now a very happy Camper and can get get the Show on the Road. This includes my plans for KDP (?) books. What is very encouraging to me in both endeavors is that only approximately 10% of the users involved in these companies are even close to competent designers giving me a little bit higher expectations. Time will tell and 'we shall see'. Thank you SOooo Much! (c=
Hey Sarah, I'm One of your followers, I learned a lot from you. Thank you so much for helping others to learn about digital market . Could you please please please make a tutorial video about Affiliate Marketing. Thank you so much
Quick question , when you are doing the copyright check on 14:17, are you using the original picture or the one you edited? I thought the whole point is to check whether someone else has done the same work as you did right?
Hey I have a question! So let's say I wanted to target a niche such as star wars. If I took a star wars related photo from pixabay (like yoda for example), removed the background and added a filter to it, would redbubble accept that? Or would they ban me from using it since the yoda character belongs to Disney?? I'm very curious
Hey I have a question and Printful and Shopify don’t anwer me probably..If I’m using Shopify with Printful, will my costumers get automatically Tracking Number per e-mail, so they can track their order? And if yes, should I do something in Shopify, like activate something so that this can happen or it’s enough to just download Printful in Shopify and this will then happen? :)
I found a pic from 2014 in pixabay but on tineye it says newer identical versions were uploaded in 2022. Would it still be public domain because of original download?
I have 2 questions about your video. 1) is the sale success/profit margins of this concept greater on red bubble or Zazzle as both seem to have similar method of pod concept. 2) when demonstrating adding to canva which template type or page size do U recommend for the blank canvas you upload to?
I'd never used tineye before so thought I'd give it a go. I reverse image searched one of my own images which I use on redbubble but when I specifically search for that image on redbubble using tineye it says there are no matches?? How can that be?
Hi Sarah, Thank you for the great content in your videos. . I have a question. If you use the free 30 day trial to remove the backgrounds of photos to save, and the 30 days expire, can we still use the photos saved with the backgrounds removed? I am from South Africa, and the exchange rate is very high. So it makes it difficult for us to do anything with costs involved.
@JanetteBlom There is another way to remove background other than Canva there's this free site called photopea it's a copy from Photoshop you can search the RUclips on how to remove backgrounds later on after the Canva free trial
Hello! Is there an alternative to Red Bubble? I used to be with them, but for some odd reasons they said I was spamming, and this was after I made my 1st sale. I wonder.
Hi Sarah, so I was trying to open an Etsy account but the process was not even completed and they just suspended my account. This seems to be highly unreliable to do a business with. Are there any other sites you suggest for POD as well as handmade goods. Thanks.
I got a cartoon of a Kombi van off Pixabay and then changed things to it in photoshop (flattened out wheels, added smoke, colour, etc). Spent a good 2 hours on it. Uploaded it to Redbubble.... And nothing. It wouldn't except my design and stated that Kombi have a copyright on all images of their van, even if you do a drawing of one it's prohibited. So just had to write that one off. I think Pixabay is great but I've seen other things on there I wouldn't use for the same reason like Disney characters, etc. By the way I like your videos and enthusiasm 👍🏻👍🏻
So I will probably use this example here in a video sometime in the future, because your picture was illegal and RedBubble did have to remove it, but I understand why you thought it was OK and legal. The picture itself was probably legal and yes, it was probably in the public domain. But cars are protected by trademarks. And so you can't use the car in a commercial product that is benefiting from their trademarked car/brand without their permission. I once saw someone on RUclips recommend using Public domain photos of the Eifle Tower and I was just like 🤦 because the Eifle Tower is trademarked. You cannot use a photo, even a Public Domain photo of it, without their permission. And here the RUclipsr was recommending using it for commercial purposes 🤦 So it's a weird zone. Technically the photo is public domain, but the image it's taken the photo of is still trademarked and therefore not allowed to be sold on RedBubble 🙏
@@WholesaleTed Thanks for the reply. I've only just started with the whole POD thing so it's all a big learning curve. So a couple of hours working on this design and uploading to Redbubble wasn't that bad.
