Thank you so much for your video, I like the colour palette you pick up for your projects and I like the manner of your telling and the sound of you voice ❤
If possible, could you show how you store your yarn stash and how you document your projects? I'd find that "behind the scenes" very interesting and also helpful😊 Keep up the great work, I love the vibe in your videos💕
Thank you for another beautiful podcast. I love all your knits and can't wait to see your framed sweater on. I'm just working on the hem of my daughter's anyday sweatshirt by Ysolda. It's a great pattern.❤🧶
I love your scrappy blanket. I might have to make one with some of my yarn scraps as well. It sounds like a fun way to use up the bits that are left and just change the colors as I run out of yarn.
Love all your wips! I hear you on the shoe dilemma! When I was still wearing skinny/slim jeans I wore my blundstones almost exclusively whenever it was cold and/or wet. Now that I am in love with wide leg denim and trousers I really don't like the blundstones with those. Especially if the pants are full length. I now wear Converse High Tops. And mostly the leather ones because it always rains here in winter. I have a white pair and then the winter version (nice and warm) of an all black pair. Really like the look with full length pants.
aww yeah, that’s exactly the dilemma I‘m facing! I love my blundstones with skinny or straight/cropped jeans but not as much with wide/flowy pants.. I can’t go back to converse though 😂 they remind me so much of my teenage years and are a pain to get on/off and also not the best for walking a lot even if do like the look of them - I’m mostly wearing new balance and asics trainers now and have just ordered some new ones since my old ones have been worn sooo much 🫢 thank you for sharing
@@marleneknits Haha I get it. I had a completely different style as a teenager (trying to look like a mid 30s rich Chanel Lady😂) so I enjoy my converse now.
About the length of the ribbing of your Framed: I once threaded needles through a row, cut below and knit the stitches the wrong way around from there. That was in a colorwork project and it's barely noticable. So I think you should be fine at the point between ribbing and colorwork!
Thanks for the tip! I’ll re-block it and try it on after finishing the whole thing and depending on how much of the yarn I got left and how happy I am with the length I’ll definitely consider it! 🧡
Hi Marlene. I’m new to your channel and enjoyed this podcast. Can you please tell me the name and designer or a link to the last sweater that you talked about. I don’t see it in your show notes and I tried to look it up without luck. TIA 😊
happy to hear that you enjoyed watching and thanks for catching the missing information - there’s always a little something that slips my brain while writing these description boxes 🫢 I added it now! thank you again and here’s the link to my ravelry page for the doppio sweater I was talking about www.ravelry.com/projects/marleneleonie/doppio-sweater
I dont think it is if people are not eager to be a part of your comunnity but some people cant efford to pay every podcaster who starts a paying part of there podcast. I like a lot of podcasters that is gonna be a expensive hobby next to buying yarn😅. I am sorry if am rude i dont mean it that way.❤
it is definitely not possible to be a paying member of every single option in the crafting world that’s out there (though I personally haven’t seen a ton of knitting podcasters offer a membership like this at all!) but I definitely do not take it in a rude way & appreciate the support in any shape, way or form that people in this community extend to me 🧡
@@meepiecrafts7799 thank you so much!! please know that it’s just an additional thing that I am offering (which has been wonderful so far, to connect further) but my videos will all stay public! 🫶🏻
