Yeah, he seemed pressured into placating those two. Can't imagine, since he isn't into 'salad', that he really enjoyed eating this meal. He is a lovely man who would never insult someone by saying anything bad about a free meal.
This is progress and shows his rise in popularity, might not be your cup of tea but doesn’t mean he wont still make the videos you like.

True. He is doing well because he is good. It is like being into a band in the “early” days, then resenting the fans who come along later. 🙃 I found this one not very interesting though. I usually watch the vidz start to finish, but not this one.
The problem is she came across as a PR Rep for the restaurant. I understand she isn't, but when someone else is pushing the product in this context, it's a bit strange.

Hi Danny, just chucking my 10p worth in here, so I do apologise in advance, as I don't want to appear rude. I agree with some other comments on here, in that, I think the majority of your viewers much prefer the content when it's just you and t'cameraman having banter and mugging off t'editor! You are brilliant and entertaining to watch mate and you don't really need to change anything. Can't wait to see what happens when you start doing a couple of reviews abroad though. That should be amazing. Keep up the good work mate 👍🏻

@Turret Lodge they did "open their mind" by watching the video, the vapid celebrities weren't to their liking.
Much much prefer Danny on his own … the thing is we as viewers feel Danny is talking to US … not other guests! It just makes me want to mute if I’m honest! So Danny on your own please! Also how about a few weeks of one week Sunday Roasts, next week Sandwiches, week after Indian, week after Pasta etc so trying the same takeaway for a week in different places side by side? A week of comparing the same meal … just an idea!

Man this is even more chill than the solo vids. Doing regular guest videos would be a great addiction to the channel. I find it very weird how much dislike for this format is going on in the comments. 1 day a week of trying different food and hearing different people is good for everyone. Although a bit more food to review would be good. It's nice to see Danny talking with peers for once instead of only interacting with doting fans.

I've got a table and chair in back of my work van, a nice sunny day, set my t & c up outside a takeaway café, went and ordered my sarnie came back out and there was a dear old lady seating in my chair, when she saw me she said "hello love, I'll a cup of tea and a bacon sandwich please!" What could I do but ask red or brown sauce then went and ordered tea and sarnie for her, my work clothes were well manky there's no way she thought I worked there!
Had to ask the owner of the café to look after my t&c as after 30 mins I had to get back to work and she weren't finished!!!🖖😁

Just read quite a lot of the comments below and there are a lot that enjoyed this collaboration and a lot that did not. I am not sure that it does Danny any favours to be honest but that is my personal opinion. I adore watching Dannys vids and if any day there isn't a new one such as yesterday I miss them. I dont quite think Annie and Todd understood what you are all about. Likewise I was quite surprise at the off handish way that Chris Kamara treated Danny. I really prefer Danny flying solo on these interacting with the public and the cameraman but thats just my opinion.
Well like the unboxing vids, he's trying to mix it up to keep everyone happy with variation, but yea he's definitely better on his own with the ordinary folks, he seemed out of his depths at that food awards thing as they were all a bit pretentious, trying too hard to be someone there not, that's why Danny's liked cause he's himself and doesn't care what people think of him

They did come across as nice, but Annie Mac clearly guided Danny in the responses she wanted; ie "this place is a legend in London for its falafuls" or "when you eat falafuls you are full all day, unlike when you eat meat". She also is very dominating, which made it hard for Danny to interject his thoughts on the meal, which is why I watch his vlogs. As an American from the USA I have no idea who his 2 guests are (famous there?). Funny how you found some comments hostile just because they express views of liking Danny without needing imbellishment.

I thought the last few episodes have been brilliant the humour taken up another level and the interaction with the public has been superb especially with the fermented fish. Couldn't watch all of this.
