@@mosalad7176but also Aho is a huge factor defensively, and might honestly be the best penalty killler in the league. Kaprizov doesn’t come close to Aho defensively
@@kashitumbapura6691 Aho is also best faceoff guy from the top. Most shorthanded goals. Because of shorthanded and Canes more equal play time plays 5on5 about 3 mins less per game than Kirill. Also while Canes is better team, it plays very defensively. Over the 4 seasons Canes have made less goals than Minnesota (though they are close). But far less than Avalance & Leafs. So if anything I could move Aho to 2nd pick. I would say that Rant-Marner-Aho is hard pick for 2nd.
I feel like it should be noted that Eichel may have been in a much better position if he had been with a team willing to let him get his disk replacement surgery. The delay in treatment likely affected his play.
Yikes, you're obviously new to Hockey or a stat merchant. If you watch him play, you would immediately know he's the difference maker in that team. He is single-carrying a Wild team. And for why I'm guessing you're calling that season a fluke, is because of the following season. That would prove you're a stat merchant, because not only was he on the road to break his previous point record, but he also got injured pretty badly. Now that he's back this season, obviously not at his prime, hes STILL aiming for a 100 point season. Watch hockey before commenting bud.
Eichel played in a Stanley Cup winning team (a team that already reached a final without Eichel), Connor and Hintz are playing for teams that are topping or close to topping their divisions. Kaprizov is playing for a potential bottom 10 team. Know the difference.
+ You're saying hes worse defensively than all three. How would that matter in the grand scheme of things if a FORWARD is worse than another forward, but far better in the offense. Youre drafting mostly for the offense when going for a forward. The gap in the offensive abilities of Kaprizov compared to the others far triumphs over the gap in the defensive abilities.
Man, Kaprizov is around 1.15 ponts per game in his NHL career and has more than 0.5 goals per game. This is some prime Ovie stats right here. He should be above Aho for sure. Eichel, Connor and Hintz are out of the question.
SHIT I messed up and mixed up who selected at 5th overall it was CAROLINA not Calgary, unacceptable by me. Sorry for any confusion.
Craziest stat about this draft currently: Mitch Marner is second in this draft class in scoring with 611 points. Connor McDavid has 603 ASSISTS
HAHHAHAHAAHHAHAHHA that is wild
best draft of all time, i’ll stand by that
I think 2015 produced more talent but 2003 produced more (borderline) hall of famers.
Eichel's defense these last few years is so slept on
5th Overall Was the Hurricanes Not the Flames. Hanifin was traded to Calgary w/Lindholm in 2019
can you make a video of the national teams like Canada, Usa and Finland but with the best players scince 2000
Give me Kirill over aho and the list is perfect
Just tough because Aho was a high end player for years before Kirill arrived
@@MikeBartner true i'm just think for the future id rather have kaprizov over him
@@MikeBartnerfair enough but since arriving Kirill has put up better numbers on a way worse team.

You should've done top 15 this draft just cause of how stacked it is

Barzal imo is one of the most underrated players in the league. Feel like at 29-31 that he scores 100+ points
As an islanders fan with taveras he thrived now with horvat he is if you add a real number 1 winger with him and horvat he could be a 100 point guy
You should make more image for thé content 🙂
Carolina drafted 5th not Calgary btw 😂
Oh wow I'm stupid
Do 2012
Kaprizov Mcdavid Rantanen
Connor Eichel Marner
Aho Ek Barzel
Meier Hintz Konecny
Werenski Chabot
Provorov Hanifin
Andersson Dunn
Hill
Samsonov
TK>zack
Very close if ZW has another injury I could lean TK
Eichel, Connor and Hintz are better than Kaprizov. That 108 point season was a fluke and he's worse defensively than all three
