Fun fact:
The reason costume #8 is plaid is because these cast members (guest relations) are in every land and Walt wanted a design that suited every land (hence the multicolored plaid) which was also easy for guest to spot them.

&& actually this isn’t true. Custodial’s costume is actually originated on this Sense and is why it is white. guest relations costume is actually a royal steward tartan; one that is actually worn by the royal family in pattern; and as Walt founded The department and it is the first in the family of theme parks, the gr costume is what it today. It has actually gone through many changes since its inception and this one was settle upon fairly recently in the time line.
Katrina Anzaldua hm that’s funny, in my orientation/traditions class for Disneyland they told us the Guest Relations costume actually was going for an equestrian aesthetic and that it is one of the only costumes that hasn’t changed since opening.
@@vg8527 Guest Relations costumes are similar to what they used to be. They no longer wear red knee highs and they have more than one costume.
As a Star Tours cast member, I think it’s pretty interesting to see that guests actually like our costumes.

It's truly magical to see Cast Members, no matter where they work in Disneyland, to have such happy personalities! Stands out to all the theme parks I've been to.
It’s mandatory.
Not saying that some people have been genuinely happy and smiley, but it is mandated by park rules.
The best thing about being a CM at the mansion besides the costume is that you're NOT required to smile.

the plaid shirt is also an earned shirt , my friend who was a cast member was about to be promoted to the plaid shirt before he unfortunately passed away

I haven't been to Disneyland in SO long and all of these videos are making me lonely for the park. For years we went every Wednesday with the passes but now I just pass out at the prices of the passes. It sort of passes me off but At least I can go and visit with you every Wednesday with the Provost Park Pass. Bet you were wondering where I was going with all those passes!! Disneyland..OF course!! : ) As far as the costumes go, I would have to agree with the crowd, HM has the best.
Very glad to see my attraction star tours very included on the list, also slightly freaking out because my friends Chad and Genesis made it onto your video, as well as my backside, as I go through the chain to the fastpass side
one of my very favorite rides! especially when I'm the rebel spy which has only happened one time sadly!
My favorite costume are definitely the Frontierland/Big Thunder Mountain CM costumes.
But for shows and parades, the Map Makers dancers from Mickey and the Magical Map and the Chimney Sweeps from Soundsational

Fantastic video once again Provost Park Pass! Love the interactions with the Cast Members at the park. Even though we knew that Haunted Mansion would make #1, it was still wonderful to see the others that made the list and the advantages that come with them. Keep up the amazing work as always. 😃✨
Indiana Jones, the lady's costume is a split skirt, or riding skirt (for those daring ladies of the 1800's that wanted to ride their horse astride and not use a sidesaddle). Very daring.
Can I just tell you that the custodial cast member costume is my most favorite. It feels like I wear my pajamas to work!

So I work at the Galactic Grill, and I think our costumes are pretty dope. It has a space print on it and has the T for Tomorrowland on the shoulder. The only problem I have are the hats. They’re too small.
My number one choice for ride operator was Haunted Mansion strictly because of the costumes. Second was Pirates just because it’s mostly indoors lol
The retired bright orange and white tiki room costumes were #1 🧡

I am glad that you included Main Street was modeled after Ft. Collins, Colorado. Being from Colorado I tell everyone that and many don't believe me.
I think they are going to have to do this again actually because Galaxy's Edge just opened fairly recently...and clearly those are now the coolest costumes for sure!!!

I also like the Main Street Costumes which is quite similar to #8 but in red color, very common to see during the parade and the fireworks. And I also voted the train conductor and Indiana Jones costumes. The haunted mansion costume is great but it looks too thick to wear in summer...

I went to Disneyland Tokyo's Haunted Mansion and the butler looks like he came straight out of the Black Butler manga/anime! Everything from his tone of speech, posture, hairstyle, to of course the fine details in the costume itself
Definitely my favorite cast costume is the Haunted mansion I axshly dress up like that as Halloween costume last year

My favorites are definitely Haunted Mansion and the Indy attraction costumes, because the women get culottes and spats!! Very accurate to the theme. This year though, the Galaxy's Edge costumes take the cake! They're customizeable and very unique.

I use to work in merchandise so I was all over the place( DTD, Hotels,Parks) and I wore so many different costumes throughout my time there!! I miss it but costuming was kinda annoying to go to all the time!!!!

Bengal BBQ or their food cart was my favorite outfit. But for comfort was DCA’s warm tan jacket or pacific warf. Ahg would of totally bought that. So warm and comfy.
Least favorite was boudin. White and rain....the once in a blue moon....was not fun. We were running around with trash bags on off stage.
