add a button into the game where if you press it you can drag your mouse across your towers to sell multiple towers at once. It would be very helpful in the difficult modes.

Accelerator upsides
- Has hidden detection at level 0
- Amazing DPS at all levels
- DPS at level 5 pretty much negates a lot of downsides
Accelerator downsides
- Damage is affected by RNG, each tick will deal 70%-100% of damage, max accel can do 270-375 DPS
- Same targeting as the Pursuit, can only attack and target the same enemy until it dies
- Levels 1 and 2 are near useless lol
- Extremely weak against stuns
-Has short range for an endgame tower (even though it’s 20)
- Will struggle against extremely tanky bosses if it’s a lower level (and it won’t be able to clean up the weaker that pass by enemies)
Engineer upsides
- An incredible 500 DPS
- Can actually be used for early game (not as good tho)
- Sentries can’t be affected by stuns that don’t deal unit damage (Boomer stuns, Void Reaver spheres, Fallen Guardian pokes, etc.)
Engineer downsides
- Sentries aren’t affected by buffs (DJ and Commander)
- A max level engineer costs 54k
- The worst tower against stomp stuns (will be fixed in the next patch)
- Sentries don’t have hidden detection
- Not that good at early game, especially against shadows
Despite all of the downsides that the Accelerator has, it’s MORE WORTH IT than the Engineer because a Level 5 Accelerator’s DPS basically makes up for all of the downsides.
but you have to put in the fact that for engi you can use dj to lower the price and cheap to place, you need some other good early to mid-game towers to support the engi till you get it maxed out

honestly if they just added sentries having hidden detection oh a higher level it'd be "ok" against hiddens (depends what level they get it) and if they doubled engineer's fire rate, that would make it a decent amount better just cause then it could be a reasonable early and mid tower, and letting the sentries being effected by commander, that would be op but for almost double the price it needs to be, the sheild will help, although since they're considered units it might be a bit harder (aka take longer if they even consider this)

Accelerator with 300 dps, multipled by 8, 2400. 2400 dps for $344,000. That's $143,000~ per 1,000 DPS.
Engineer with 450 dps, multiplied by 6, 2700. 2700 dps for $324,000~. That's $120,000~ per 1,000 DPS.
Engineer is more cost efficient, plus no charge up.
Another thing is:
You can use engineer for early game just fine, but can you use Accelerator for early game? No!

Looking back at this video, people dont seem to notice the fact that engineer and accel are meant to be used in unison to make them both better and making a win way easier then just one of the other, since their cons contrasts with the other's pros, and after all of that, i still think that engineer should be a 2.5k gem tower.

That's a stupid argument considering accel can win on its own. The fact that you can win with accel and engi with supports means nothing as accel can win fallen with literally any early game tower. Hell, just accel and supports can do it.

They can release the mecha base that can be supplementary for the engineer. They never have towers that get buffs if both are placed and within a certain perimeter. For instance, if engineer and mecha base are both placed, mechs will be tankier or some random thing maybe spawn goku idk

!IDEAS FOR DEVS OF TDS! (Please read)
You should add a skin for an accelerator as a Santa or a gingerbread man for the mini(and accel too) And a candy cane skin for the Engineer. You can make a farm skin a gingerbread house. You can also make a skin for ace where it's Santa in a sleigh, and a Chinook shin for the helicopter would be cool. You could also make ice skins that look similar to the ghost skins from 2020. I also have an idea for an event tower:
Yeti. this tower throws rocks, and eventually big boulders
( he can stun enemies just like the warden), and his boulder can go through multiple enemies just like the archer. ( Yeti is relatively bigger than the other towers and has a cool idle animation)
Another cool tower I was thinking of was: Gladiatrix this tower has a trident and a net. She can make enemies stuck, and poke them with her trident (she can throw it when they are far away).

accel is based off of phaser from tb which everyone knows. And phaser is known for locking on and dealing (from what i know) the 2nd highest dps in game. Phaser is ONLY USED FOR THE VOID and really strong bosses. Accel follows the same concept. Which is why Accelerator performs the best in the game in terms of boss slaying. However Engineer is the best tower to cover Accelerators downsides (Golden mini is also something you could consider but overall engineer is better) and it can defeat bosses at a decent rate and aswell the lower dudes very well.
These towers should not be compared at all, rather used together to make the most deadly duo in the game. Pair these two towers together and fallen and all other modes are light work. Which is also why these both should be 2,500 gems. Even if engineer has higher dps, accel lvl 5 is also extremely op and in many things is accelerator better.

the reason why the sentries dont get buffed is the same reasion why humvees also dont get buffed becuase it has health its kinda like an attacking humvee that doesnt move even if its on the track that does damage pretty well

@@ThisLunitic yes but each sentry at max level does 100 dps being able to place 2 max level sentries equates to 200 dps + the sentry gunners shooting that nail gun thing or whatever which is 240 dps compard the max level accelerator with a dps of 230 and also about the engineer thats only the max level sentries with engineer to get 240 dps and also the sentries in later updates are getting a shield it might replinish too.

They can either reduce its price a bit gemwise or balance its upgrades and add some abilities. If they didn't do that, then you only have bragging rights for owning it.
I think it's far too late for reducing the price at this point due to the fact that people have already spent robux (and their time) getting this tower. All they can do, gem-wise, is increase the amount of gems you get from Hardcore, which they apparently already are doing (only for the triumph though).
Personally, I think that as soon as the sentries are able to get buffed by the commander, that will make the price of 4500 gems much more worth it, although we will most likely never see this happen due to the sheer destruction they will do at that point. The sentries seem to excel the accelerators (without commander buffs) in terms of DPS when fighting against enemies who do not stun, who the hell cares about that though, the minigunner can do the same thing lol
Oh and yes, I am writing this because I have The Engineer. While I do not regret my purchase (as there is nothing else I can spend my gems on), I am definitely quite disappointed that this tower is overpriced yet doesn't even surpass the Accelerator in terms of DPS. At the moment it's just there for bragging rights, as you said.

Engi sucks for a desperate "last-stand," because not only is it outrageously expensive, but it takes time for it to reach it's full damage potential (it has to shoot enemies before it can build a fortress of sentries). Engis aren't great for selling and replacing.
accel is a tower that specialises in powerful, single target dps. its early levels suck pretty badly, but its later levels, more specifically level 5, have incredible dps that is unrivalled by anything else in the game. In order to combat this godly power, accelerator has a charge up which not only weakens its power against faster enemies, but also against stuns. It goes very well with supports and is a late game tower with an expensive cost and weak early game. Engineer on the other hand is pretty good at all stages of the game. it does have some weak categories, such as how it doesn't go well with supports or how it has pretty weak hidden detection. However, it speciallises in being an all around tower, useful for every mode. It has adaptive dps, meaning the more damage it deals, the higher its dps rises, eventually reaching a whopping 450 dps. Despite the many upsides of engie, most people hate on it for costing a lot and "being worse than accel" completely ignoring the flaws of accel because clearly, all we care about is max level dps.

Engi is worse due to store price,total cost and the sentries dies,ik the shield update but if the Fallen king stun twice sentries will die and engineer’s limit and stages,the more stages,the more things u have to place,also accel has slightly more range also accel get hidden detection at lvl 0 AND accel can take buffs unlike engi,well engi does take buffs but the sentries/the main Dps cannot take buffs AND sentries doesn’t have hidden detection

After the engineer shield buff you will be grinding for engi non stop, engi right now has 500 dps, even higher than accel, imagine how op it would be when the shield buff gets added(prob gonna be the meta)

The thing is accel is more of a tank killer while Engineer is good for every category in stat for hidden detection flight firerate range damage but it does not accel in damage as well as the.. Accel and once the sentries get its shield its probably gonna be better then accel because the sentries will last longer and do the damage that it needs to rival accel in its damage. And Engineer isnt early game its used in mid or late game

well it certainly does not accel at hidden detection but it does 48 dps per second at max no sentry's and no commander the only time where engineer does bad against hidden detection is in hardcore because the hidden boss has 750 hp instead of the 450 which I do admit that it isn't perfect for hidden detection. That's about the only not great stat it has but in general its better then accel. and when are you gonna use engineer by itself its pretty good in mid game but amazing in late game.
accelerator is also kind of mid-late game, but if you can get 3500 cash easily, then it could be late early game
I think the engineer is supposed to be a troop killer instead of a boss killer but the accel still does a better job at both
I like accel more but that’s not even true. Engineer is better against final waves because accelerator locks on only to the boss and not the actual zombies ahead. An accel only run would maybe get decimated sometimes due to accel ignoring fast zombies like circuits or anything else

What I think is accel and engi are good tag team. Accel for big dmg but doesn’t focus on enemies in front and engi will do good dmg and focus on the enemies in front.
Accel + engineer is ultimate God level, engineer can take out smaller bosses but accel is the main dps
Guys remember, although the performance of engineer is slightly more disappointing, remember, the engineer does better killing multiple towers, it also takes less time to start up, meaning the engineer can kill faster mobs but the accel will struggle a lot more.

max lvl accel doesn't really struggle killing fast bosses since the dps makes up for it
Both Towers are good on their own field, Engineer is better in terms of horde sweeping (not counting hidden enemies) and the Accel is a good choice for boss slaying. Both placed down and they can do massive DPS. If you want an easy-to-get high dps tower, best to obtain the accel. If you want to destroy hordes in seconds, get the engineer after the accel if you feel like it. But for me, I got plans to make the TF2 team on TDS.

Accel:

Overall Engineer is pretty situational and requires more strategy to utilize her strength, while Accel is good in almost all situations and is more cost efficient. You can grind for Engie but she isn’t a must.
Fun fact:
RNG has RNG damage(25-18) and bc engineer doesnt have lower firerate and damage it would have winned fallen

Accel has 25-18 RNG damage if you just use maths (25+X damage) it could give even BETTER damage than engineer itself

make it so if you right click on a tower it auto upgrades one time since people struggle with farms since you only get 5 seconds. And if you use it for the first time make a notification pop up with ´Are you sure you want to upgrade?´ and make a option with ´Dont show again´. But do show when they clicked no, if they clicked YES dont make it pop up anymore.

obviously accelerator is gonna deal more to the bosses because it targetting just the boss and nothing infront so if accel would be fized he would still deal huge ammounts of dps but it would be much more fair
i mean the sentrys do splash damage
Engineer is better to buy bc it’s not really worth all 23 hours to grind while accel isn’t worth to buy but it’s worth to grind
