I do recommend Lost Stories if only because they do the whole "OC pushed into the main story" thing much better. I'm actually kinda amazed how seamlessly they've managed to fit the MC into the Code Geass storyline both without majorly changing anything but making them feel very natural. Gameplay is just standard tower defense stuff (though it can get fucking BRUTALLY difficult pretty damn quick), and it's Gacha system is... weird (Code Geass has a lot of character, but not really enough for a true Gacha system so they just have multiple variants of the same character. Example: There are currently Four variants of Lelouch. Zero, Ashford, Butler, and Nighttime)
Hey man VN's aren't exactly my normal wheelhouse, but I just wanted to say that this video is really good and you definitely deserve more viewers. I wish you luck and I genuinely hope your channel grows because you deserve it.
For a handheld game, I actually like the idea of the routes being short. I know many longer vns have been ported to handheld systems, but I always feel like handhelds are meant for short play sessions. That being said, it sucks that this game didn't capitalize on making a more unique experience. I would have loved something based in the universe that told the story differently. Ah well
I'm pretty cool with short routes as long as they are done well, and the visual novel was clearly made with telling a good story in that time frame. This unfortunately just felt like it tried to cram 13 episodes of an anime into 30 screen shots. Pretty sure no fan of a show comes into additional stories like this, wanting to see the exact same story except extremely watered down. To be fair though, Code Geass Lost Colors definitely wasn't the only anime-based visual novel to suffer a very similar fate.
Both lost colors/stories have potential, but fall short, along with S.R.W( Super robot wars) Z2 & DD series; My focus would with Gundam 00 & code geass build, add and/or remove some story plots why? For they share the same world (game). The focus would the world powers Britannia/Union, A.E.U, H.R.L( Human Reforme League)/ Chinese federation.
For some reason I seem to be easily swayed by Japanese games (read: games that were either only ever released in Japan or _WERE_ localized but on mobile or some other platform where they could be removed and, well...were later cancelled *sobs in now having to use a VPN to download and play Magia Record and Tales of Rays and missing Tales of Link* )... I mean, my mom's the one who bought Tales of Rebirth (only ever made in Japan. I was aware of this when I saw her ordering it and some other Japanese exclusive Tales games but I didn't mention it because I still wanted to play them eventually....turns out that PS2s _AREN'T_ compatible with disks from foreign regions so uh...they kinda collected dust...) so I think it's fair to say that I'm exempt from that one but even then I convinced my uncle to buy me Tales of the World radiant Mythology 2 (only ever released in Japan since the first game was the only one that got localized) for my birthday....then I spent like 80 dollars to buy Madoka Magics PSP... And now I want this soley because I read the TV Tropes page on it and uh.... Let's just say I'm a matchmaker and that's the only real reason I'm interested in it... The kicker? I've never so much as watched the anime. Also I can't read Japanese....(not that that's stopped me from almost beating an entire game that was in Japanese and going through 2 out of 4-5 routes like 20 times to get more points and getting all the endings in those routes, and playing through part of a Japanese game with the help of a translator) which is...not very helpful (the fact that I know some spoken Japanese helps though)... Buuuutttt.... I _DO_ happen to own a Japanese PS2 (which I bought soley so I could play those Japanese games my mom bought when I was in middle school....) and a PSP (which isn't region locked) so all it's going to take is me being given a source of income followed by me having a lapse in judgement yet again *coughMadokaMagicaPSP* and next thing I'll know there'll be a stupid Japanese visual novel at my doorstep yet again....
I am really into Super Robot Wars-style Fix Fics. But the fact that this game only has it at the very end is REALLY disappointing! Also not gonna lie, the MC looks like a bootleg version of Loewe from Trails In The Sky.

Kind of hope they will try another Code Geass VN with a somewhat similar concept.
Also, fun fact for you. Rai's design is actually based on Lelouch's original design (when he was an even more blatant Char Clone).

Hey I appreciate it, and if you aren't interested in VN's I do generally talk about Japanese Games, JRPG's, LN, and all that sorta stuff as well.

The Japanese army line, Britanian line(Conelia, Knight of rounds), Viletta line are very good for me...
Bro, we need a Code Geass game that's like Armored Core.

The only problem with this visual novel the Close captions or not English
this game came out a month before r2 was aired in japan
i think game was most advertise season 2 in japan actual people made this game are super dang obscure
this also rolo his first actual appearance
They reused old art work of lelouch for the protagonist

I Think you should watch code geass so you can understand the characters better ( atleast the first season)

more like he's just a bootleg version of Lelouch except they slapped silver hair on him and called it a day.
@@Zyraizo That works too I guess.
@@Zyraizo which is actually funny, because Lelouch's hair was suppose to be white, and suzaku's military green, but they change both
