Ensoniq had an amazing customer base, when it came out with the Mirage, eps, eps 16plus, ASR10/88 and TS10/12. The MR76 was an improvement in sounds from the ASR and TS models. Great pianos and Rhodes on this keyboard.

I was lucky enough to get one of these at the local pawn shop for $85- some of the buttons on the 16-track recorder were stuck. I simply used a small flathead to pop them loose and it was as good as new.
Tive um Ts 12 e na época era maravilhoso, tirando o peso pra carrregar kkk o problema é se quebrar !! é uma pena o fim desses teclados ENSONIC me deixou boas recordaçãoes !!
how ironic I have the 76th like LOL. but seriously I did score one in trade and luckily it had a hard case with wheels. found it on Craigslist and your video convince me to make the trade :-) . the songs are awesome and I've heard from a lot of people the drum machines are some of the most realistic best wishes and happy music making:-)

I do know something about electronic repair so I will be giving it a go. Once everything gets replace I hope it works, but, what do you want or expect for a hundred dollars?

Ensoniq sold to EMU, Emu got bought out by Creative Audio (soundcards manufacturer, Win 95 made them Stoopid rich) ... Ensoniq just got lost in the middle of time.... Great interfaces, and sounds. Miss playing those keyboards.
a gravação adicionou ummedio grave mais no timbre original.. que eu tenho visto em outro review é ZOOM Handy Video Recorder camera de otima qualidade e capta direto mas esta editado automaticamente. Tem timbres editados.. tb... mas grande som.. Tenho vontade de ter um ensoniq de novo.
Realmente incrível o som desse teclado.. estou com um desse.. porém está no conserto, o som parou.. espero que tenha como arrumar... Quero tocar teclado, sou Baixista, mas quero aprender esse Instrumento..
So disappointed that Ensoniq stopped developing Keyboard workstations. I spend thousands of hours on their VFX-SD from 89 to 93/94 then stepped up to the MR series and now they're gone. I feel cheated...

Bro es un sinte del 96, en ese tiempo aún no se había creado el USB (o estaba en desarrollo recién), sólo existia el MIDI standard y las conexiones seriales EXB. Y respecto al split (dividir el teclado) es una función casi obligada en todos los teclados.

It has 1200 sounds alone. A 16 track sequence on board. I paid 2,700 dollars plus tax in (January 1997). It was the boss back then and as far as I am concern it's still the boss. Lol

i have a zr76 with a few flakey buttons, the value knobs are super finnicky and a couple keys have a velocity issue (medium pressure = too loud). any advice?

Stellar rhodes. Ensoniq was on the cutting edge of sampling and user functionality. Pianos and Rhodes patches have always been their biggest asset.

I traded an x-box for one of these 20 yrs ago. Still have it. Great piece of keyboard. Although it's a beast to handle.

Though I love Ensoniq, I played this model and is very good. But, honestly.. I put my Yamaha EX7 besides.. and this kbd sound just decent.

I love mine and have recorded several albums with it but here lately the sustain pedal is faulty.
