It's because of stuff like what happened in that Sauron game that I'm running Shadowspear in my version of it. Helps gaining life back, helps bypassing blockers, helps with hexproof and indestructible so I can remove stuff and can also be pitched to Mount Doom for a mostly one-sided board wipe.
Decks like these are exactly why you are one of my favorite mtg content creators. Sacrificing things is without a doubt my favorite things to do in Magic
nice to see you in your natural element with this deck, I was binge watching some very old scg commander vs a few months ago and I recall seeing grave pact in quite a few decks by you, it was always followed soon by "now why would you do that..." from you as they inevitably teamed up on you lol your plays with it made me see just how powerful sacrifice strategy can be

Definitely. Excellent sneaky Shadowspear deck- you always have creatures able to attack once Sauron is out.
Three things are certain in life: death, taxes, and Justin Parnell playing aristocrats

It is my number one favorite strategy in all of Magic!
The plot twist is that it was really a Yehenni deck the whole time. 😅
Shhhh
Totentanz is a very metal band name for a commander :)
The physical version of The Meathook Massacre is so much better than the arena version
Goat in the Jhoira game can't block because it's a coward.
well Hello there :D
Why use goblin bombardment before blocks in first game? Wouldn’t you have been able to get some damage in first?
Yep, just got too excited for the bombardment!
@@JParnellMTGjust wanted to make sure I didnt miss anything haha. Cool deck tho, I wanna make one more rat centric but not sure if it would be as good
