Hey Joelle, thanks for sharing your life in Dartmouth these years. Your channel was one of the first American channels I started watching, Dartmouth is amazing and I enjoyed watching you there. I'm Brazilian, a college student and the university here is a little different from the US. I started watching you three years ago, I guess, to see the difference between the two countries. In addition to learning English, I used your videos to practice. At first, I didn't understand almost anything, but now, thank God, I can understand almost everything. So thank you too! Of course, I still have a lot to learn, but I'm on my way. Even writing this comment is a way to practice. This video is so amazing, the music, the aesthetics, and your stories. I loved that you used Shadow by Wild Nothing, it combined so much. I used to listen to Wild Nothing, when looking for an exchange scholarship in the US or Canada and I imagined myself studying in a place like this (running away from the heat of Brazil hahaha), so the song gave me a good feeling! Helping my son search colleges and getting a sense of so many campuses and what it means and feels like to be in college. I try to relay my own experiences at 4 universities undergrad and grad school but that is far removed from today. Well done video.
I've gone down the college research rabbit hole this weekend as I wonder about the colleges my daughters could be admitted to and look for ways to encourage them to explore & consider their options for careers, majors, and colleges. In searching for videos on Dartmouth I found your likes/dislikes video which I appreciated & found very insightful. I decided to watch this one for the campus tour and loved it as well - your love of those places really comes through & reminded me of my favorite places and experiences at Auburn (my wife was KKG @ Auburn btw - go owls or something) and made me excited for our daughters futures, wherever they may end up. You have a wonderful presence in front of the camera and are a great storyteller - I'm certain you have a bright future.

not at all! I think there's a LOT of vibrant social life outside of greek life. It may take a little longer to discover where you want to be, but not impossible at all
