Hi i wish you good luck with your bait pump i have never seen 1 with some much bling on it you are making really hard work for such a simple device you have restricted your self with that fitting halfway up the shaft good luck

I agree to a degree! I did change the metal rod inside for a one piece stainless steel rod. As with all things new there`s going to be trial and error. But I can report that I was pumping worms no problem only yesterday! And I like to make things solid, so they don`t fall apart! Shaun.

@@happydaysveg1965 I'm glad you changed the rod as long as it saves you money and works that's all that matters happy pumping just hitting the beach to pump some 50mph winds should be fun

Hi, I actually used it for the first time last week and it works perfectly. Shaun.

If you need to cut your pipe to get a dent out then a compression fitting won't work. Yes it will join 2 bits of pipe but you won't get the silicone washer past it as it will have compressed the pipe. There's a clue in the title ! But you know this already and you're just seeing who's awake. You little scamp. 😉

Wow you've over engineered something that's so easy to make been making these for years with 3way equal tee and a brass blanking cap with a hole drilled through no need for the 22-15 convertor

As i said, its all about giving it a go and if it needs any reworking that`s ok! I have refigured it and it works great. Each to their own. Shaun.
