Abdallah, when I unlocked Island Scan I got Cyndaquil! I hadn't unlocked Route 3 yet so I missed it. I don't really need Totodile since I chose Popplio at the start, but still, the 2nd gen starters are awesome!
Back when the game first came out I wanted him as the water type for my team, I failed to get him and raged quit and didn't play Pokémon for a good year

Upon recording this video, it wasn't known that each day has a specific Pokemon on a specific Island.

to everyone I finish the game and if you don't want any spoilers for the end then don't read this apparently at the end you get tapa Coco well you get to fight him and you got to try to catch him

It is more difficult, the exp share is normalized now, so you never outlevel your opponents by more than 4 levels if anything.
***** I even lost a lot of the trials because I got too cocky on them, the game is more fun and more difficult, don´t get too cocky.
Dimitrelos300 Do not believe any of these. I will take pictures and show you. I just beat the elite four and kukui and the exp share still boosts all your Pokémon. I had all 64+ level Pokémon by the time I started the elite four battles. The game was a breeze. And no I did no grinding or trading. I can send you pictures if you'd like for proof
Dimitrelos300 and not mention I got an umbreon the first night I had the game. It took literally about ten minutes to evolve. So I guess friendship evolutions are sped up

I wish I had seen this comment sooner you would expect a guide to tell you everything you need to know... I messed with the dates so much the QR scanner stopped working and now I have to Re-start from the beginning to get it to function properly 😑 yay

Just gonna give you this tip: The sleep status actually gives a higher catch rate than the others.

This Totodile will fit in quite nicely with my team. Chose Rowlet as my starter.

Which is better adamant or bold because when I checked his totodile with mine the only thing his totodile better is at attack and my totodile is the same lv

Does finding one of the 3 starters of Johto on the QR scan work only if you have a Alola stater of the same type? For example: If you have Litten from Alola you only get Cyndaquil from the QR scanner?

luckily I have all the starters since I have all the pokemon games and made sure to breed every starter to make sure I have a lot. Just waiting for pokemon sun and moon to be compatible with pokemon bank, even though I have another 3ds to change them normally but its too much work especially when I have a lot of pokemon.

Got an onyx on the same island today
My Pokémon, all of them, have generally their based stats maxed out, their IVs and their EVs as well. I think certain Pokémon are too strong and certain are too weak. Drampa should have had a total of at least 520 in base stats instead of 485... Drampa shouldn't have been made weak (although they're strong in a way) like Turtonator.
+Raimundo Laurencia Drampa is decent in Trick Room.
where can I find the first generation pokemon?
U can get 10 ultra balls before the first trial. Talk to the guy in the pokemon center i think and if u have more than 10 pokemon hell give u 10 ultraballs.

I mean I was able to just catch it with a quick ball which is helpful and a lot easier would definitely recommend

AbdallahSmash026 well I mean there’s no harm in saying quick balls are easy, you can still do the tutorial, and I quite enjoyed watching actually I promise there was no venom or snark intended, I was just saying a lot of people seem to underestimate quick balls and they’re actually a very helpful tool. Plus the tutorial is nice for if the quick ball fails but also you could just as easily say quick balls are cool and all but this ways more fun
Can you evolve it into croconaw and feraligatr?

so i did the whole catch with an abra as the first pokemon thing so i could take advantage of the nature that i wanted and it didn't work..... how can i go about fixing this? i wanted a jolly nature (my abra was jolly, the totadile i caught was lax in nature....)

If you fail to get the totodile,( I did the island scan before I could reach the cave.), will it be available to try and capture again? I'm fine with waiting a couple days for it, just want to know if I need to restart my game.

Totodile is catchable on mondays at melemele island.

Every time I do island scan I get the same thing how can I change the Pokémon I get?
Different Pokemon appear on different days. Chikorita appears on Friday, Cynda on Sunday, and Toto on Monday.

Cyndaquil only appears on Sunday though. Check your system clock.

I TT'd to get Chikorita to fill the empty slot I couldn't fill before because of Sun and Moon's Pokemon selection.

I got totodile on my island scan but I didn't catch him, and I assumed that he would come back the next day and he didn't. It's been 4 days and I still don't have him what should I do. And also if anyone is willing to trade for the totodile HMU
