This is a cover done by Jennifer Holliday. It’s a rehearsal of when Whitney did a VH1 special. Yes it’s a gospel song. Whitney singing gospel is a treat. You should react to her singing her mothers song called He, I Believe. There’s a video of her singing it at Wembley in 86/87/88 but to truly hear her singing He, I Believe you should react the her audio in Japan 1990 especially towards the end where she reaches into the heavens with her head voice.

People would attack her all the time. She was either too perfect in a performance or not she wasn't perfect enough. She didn't perform it like they wanted her too so she was disrespectful. The amount of attacks she faced was appalling. She was even booed at the soul train awards in 1989 because she wasn't "black enough". Whatever she did she was criticized for. It is only in her death that the attacks have changed their tone.
