Great video, recently bought a Z6 and I am upgrading to the Nikkor Z series 24-70mm f2.8 S lens this week. Thanks for putting out content on the Nikon mirrorless cameras and gear. I am relatively new to photography still, so the content specific to what I have is super helpful. Keep up the great work, just subscribed to the channel.
Great video. thanks for the ideas. One question to the PolarPro Lens Cap which looks first fine and usefull - no question. But what do you do with the lens hood? You have it in the pocket? I have it always on the lens...
Fair question! I personally don’t use my lens hood that often because I find it annoying when switching filters etc. but my recommendation would be to grab a larger cap from polar pro so it fits over the hood
Thanks dude, Q: I got the Z6 with the s35. Also the ronin S. Just wonder if i do need the ronin s if the Z6 has 5 axis st. and the ronin just 3? (weddings). Thanks bro.
Should be! The weight limit seems fine. The issue I seem to always have with these more light weight gimbals is the rear motor being to close to the camera. Hard to say without actually balancing one though.
I don’t feel the need to justify because that implies regret. And ask a landscape photographer if they shoot wider than F4... many times they will shoot at f5.6 so no.
That Modern Dude I am a landscape photographer BUT I am also a portrait photographer. For landscapes I use f/8 to f/13 90% of the time but in astrophotography I need the faster lens I can get so f/4 isn’t everybody’s cup of tea. For portraiture I often use from f/1.2 to f/4 max. so there’s no best lens. There are different lenses for different purposes. In your case and as it seems that you are not a pro, you just can’t / or don’t want to invest in faster glass. FYI, very rarely a zoom lens will be able to compete with primes (ex. Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 Art). The 24-70mm f/4 is ok’ish’ if you want to save weight while hiking BUT for serious shooters the f/2.8 will be the lens to chose specially if you don’t want to be changing lenses in situations you don’t want to expose the sensor.
All good points, but it doesn't matter if it's f2.8 or F4 if the person hasn't taken the time to learn photography principles. I read so much about sun stars, bokeh, and so many other technical items that peepers argue about. One stop is not going to make or break 99% of the pictures, but bad technique will. Many substitute equipment for basic knowledge, you can take great pictures if you know what you're doing with average equipment. And pictures will be absolutely mediocre but sharper without that knowledge.
@@eldiabolico3750 I went to your channel hoping to see some of your work, being that you are so critical of this video. To say it is a “bad video”, while it may be your opinion, is actually a reach. Tbh, nobody cares what you do for a living. There is always someone being negative in the comments and you’re that one. The guy puts out content to help people like me who are simply trying to learn. This is 2 years later but I would imagine you are who you are at this point. Sucks to suck!
Honestly you wont go wrong with either one. I prefer the Z6 but that is just my personal preference. If you want the best autofocus though, get the sony

Oh you’re going to love that! It’s such a killer setup!! Really well balanced and the quality is 👌
Welcome :)
How do you like that 24-70mm? I’m really debating on getting that lens.
Great video , I just bought a Z6 recently and I’m gonna get some of these items asap
Nice video! Please do more!)
Hello sir... Nikon Z6 or Sony a7iii which one is best for closeup photography like wedding
I would get the Nikon....
What about your opinions on external flash?
I am in 4 Facebook groups and none of those people claim to have xqd failures. I am picking up a gnarbox to backup when I get nervous.
Great video. thanks for the ideas.

Which lens for wild life photography?
Nothing for Z Mount yet. You would need at least 200mm but even that isn't long enough
Good video but I disagree about not having to worry about the XQD card I kind of feel more worried because there's only 1.
That’s fair enough! We all have our gripes with things!
the link sends me to a UV filter, not a circular polarizer.
This is what I use! What about you guys? Anything I leave out?
Does the high extended mode of both cameras still not have real time view?

What’s a good lense for shoot film ? Something that does nice close, clean crisp image and great in lowlight?
I'm wondering if the new Ronin SC will be ok with the 24-70 f4 S lens.

@@ThatModernDude I think Kinotika is about to do review with the SC and by the look of the thumbnail a Z6.
Should be a good watch! I’m curious as well! But i run the 2.8 lens so its a heavier setup
There's interstellar in the background

Bad video kid. Basically you’re justifying your own choices... by the way f/4 isn’t fast enough for many folks. Cheaper yes, better no.
