Was wondering that too. Early guess, because he got a golden copy, due to copy cat being golden, it wasn't counted as the original. Probably a code issue with golden cards
@@TehJrn I assumed it would be because Copycat doesn't actually 'copy' the card, it just generates the same card into your hand. The ones that copy from hand/deck grab the card and 'duplicate' it, while Copycat just looks at what the card is and generates that card into your hand. Copycat's 'copy' wouldn't be linked to a specific individual card and thus it wouldn't count in that. If I'm correct in my guess, it feels pretty dumb but at the same time I can SORT OF see why it'd work the way it does. It could just be bugged too, but I'm more likely to believe it's just coded differently from the cards that give you a copy of a card you didn't know was in their hand/deck beforehand and hence wouldn't be linked to the actual card it took the copy from.

Is three legendary combo. How consistent can you make that is the question? If is not super consistent than it should not be problem but defenetly card to keep an eye. I wouldn't take much from this early on. This pretty much un paid testing of cards and ultimately the top deck here rarely has any stay power when everyone else get the cards.

Unfortunately Coldtooth Mine can search Denathrius and jury rig can search Coldtooth, so you'll almost always have Denathrius early enough to get stacked, if you stack him hard enough he doesn't need the brann combo, and even when you're going for the brann combo you can use either Kaelthas, Guff, or Celestial to cheat the mana. So it's pretty much a one legendary combo where you just need Brann, and Druid has cards like Aquatic Form and Moonlit Guidance to help dig for the brann. On top of that they have cards like Scale of Onyxia and Flipper Friends to stack up the Denathrius quickly while clearing the opponent's board to buy them enough time to draw into it, and Earthen Scales to make it hard to kill them with burn.

An a MtG player I really don't understand why anyone would ever put Renathal in their deck. Adding 10 more card to your deck is an insane disadvantage just to get 10 more HP. In competitive MtG you're allowed to play decks that are over 60 (or 40 in some formats) cards, but outside of few extremely rare exceptions nobody does it. Even adding just one card to your 60 card deck has significant negative impact. So you can only imagine what adding 10 cards to 30 card deck does. There's actually a really good article about this topic by Patrick Chapin called "61 Cards - Magic Russian Roulette" if you want to read more about it.
Well, since HS has no lands, cards in your deck on average have more of an impact on the game state than an average card from your deck in M:TG (especially in lower power M:TG formats). This means that adding 25% more cards to your deck isn't as crippling as it would be in M:TG, where you likely have at least 15-17 lands in your deck, and if they're basics, they kinda do nothing in the late game (unless you have mana sinks). Also, due to game mechanics (not declaring blockers), it can be easier for an aggro deck in HS to go over the top than in M:TG. I personally don't think Renethal isn't as meta-warping as everyone says it is, but it is still quite good in the decks that want such an effect.
Because it doesn't work like magic. A card like renathal is trash in magic but hearthstone is a different type if game Also allows you to fit more options into your deck. Some classes also get a benefit like warlock being less likely to die becuase of a larger health pool. The simple answer is they are different games. There is something to be said though for skipping it to make the deck more consistent.

Stealing was Priest's thing first, since the very beginning actually, and still is the only class that really steals things. Rogue generally just gets cards from other classes, not from the opponent themself. (And this wasn't part of Rogue's original identity either.)
The devs confirmed it's supposed to steal a minion if it's in play, so this was just a bug. It also only works if you play a minion that is a copy of the exact minion card in play (not the other copy in your decklist), so cards that aren't Legendary or generated from Copycat are going to be a lot harder for the priest to know if it's going to steal it while in play.
Think of it as deck defining good decks so i can build a good deck day one. Other than build a horrible deck day one and having to wait a week for ecore100 or firebat or kibler to refine a deck just so i can play hearthstone. Also hearthstone should have play a random deck you get shown what deck your playing and the decklist stays on the left. Like whizbang
Like maybe you can choose 5 decks to get given. Like a set playlist to play. Im the type of guy to switch decks rogue, druid, mech mage and control mage. So having random deck in the game is good. It could be 3, 6, all 10 decks in your collection or decks you dont own for free to play.

Infuse is so much better for druid than any other class with all the rush tokens they can generate and tutors for the key cards.
Paladin and Shaman makes Infuse decent too. Druid is just overall extremely strong.
