I met Grandmaster Chang Dongsheng when he visited Ohio State University in the early 1980s. He was a beast! Amazingly quick and powerful. He taught the Chinese military combat Shuai Jiao, and taught some of us his form of Tai Chi. A calm and still teacher. Sadly, I believe he died a few years later.
I'll be keeping an eye out for you guys on your next tour! Just couldn't make it happen this time around. And shoutout to my Raijin homies from the heart of TX!
It was great meeting and learning from you! lol sorry I look dog tired in the video clip😂. I’ll be working on my conditioning for the next time yall are in town👊
Glad this video got suggested, it was fun to watch. Small world, I train with alex in judo and sumo here in Canada. And I've known of lavell since he was in NY. I'm from SD so seeing y'all at honu where dom bell threw me, is pretty neat
@@khoalacake I'm currently in Boston. There is a NC Sumo group, friends with East Cloud Kung Fu, and they have bökh/Shuai sessions, please get in touch with them on Instagram!
Anyone else notice @SenseiSeth in the background?
@@Sensei_Gaz he absolutely is 😏👍
Just realised it, as soon as you mention it. I guess he is going to make own video soon of his experience

All is from Bodhidharma Tamil Kanchipuram Pallava Dynasty. Kung fu is originally Tamil martial arts. Shuai jiao is originally Tamil martial arts.

I tried to go to the San Diego one. Finances were too tight last month. Hopefully, next time. It looked awesome!
@@ittokaos understandable, hope to see you next time!
Are you based in NC? Also where is this Shuai Jiao group in Raleigh? I’m moving back to Raleigh soon and I’m very interested.
