This is one of the best meta breakdowns I’ve seen simply because of the way you have it set up. Most people don’t bother to label how the cards fare against all decks they’re just slammed into a super broad category

I really like your approach to deciding hand traps and board breakers for the format, a lot of channels just state what is in there side deck and don't even think why. I have the accounting brain so love anything that involves using a spreadsheet tbh
Crow can banish your opponent’s Rollback target so that might be a reason to play it over Bystials
Crow is underrated. Also hits the Tenpai special summon from the gy
Been doing something similar. Here’s 3 other things I considered:
1) a theoretical “perfect card” that gets max scores across the board for comparison
2) a “counter prevention” column. Eg. If your deck loses to skill drain, cosmic is an answer to that.
3) a way to evaluate 1st only cards vs 2nd only cards, vs all games cards.
Another row along the bottom to total the column would be a good identifier for a decks susceptibility to handtraps as a whole, just an idea!
There is actually a ruling stating that you can belle Ostinato because of how it is worded. Melodious also adds cards from the gy to hand often and even has a couple revive effects.
The thing is when is the most impactful time to Belle them

Very nice, just to say shifter is not very good against tenpai when you are not a shifter deck (ex Purrely can play it but shouldn’t) since most play shifter at least in their side decks (would be a 1 I think). good list tho and yea I realized something similar so I’m playing crow this format on top of the usual
My favourite board breaker wasn't on the list! Currently having a great time using ultimate slayer! Feels like the best board breaker overall this format, although it admittedly only works with certain decks (most of which are rogue atm).

Also personal opinion I would put droplet over lancea I don’t think I’ve seen a lot of lancea in a long time tbh and a lot of decks main deck 3 droplet these days
Good call I’ll include droplet next time. For now, Its kind of like imperm, but more dependent on the deck youre playing being able to synergize with droplet
@@phantomsygoyeah for sure I agree it isn’t a normal staple you can toss in any deck like these. I mean it is but you wanna play it with decks that benefit from cards going to grave like orcust, Horus etc so it definitely does depend on the deck but you can use it as a board breaker the same way you can the others if you’re cool with discarding and it not being beneficial
