Love watching all your hunting and fishing videos from Lacombe, LA. I am very close to Madisonville where you fished with your sister. I’m retired now but truly think it’s special when you take your sister fishing. Good brother!
I saw you fish with your sister in our area a couple years back on the Tchefuncte River. Time for you to get back down here. The Rigolets and Lake Catherine area can be very productive and if you fish the bayous off the ICW between the Rigolets and Chef Pass there can be some really good bass fishing. Our marsh bass aren’t very large but they fatten up in the fall and can be very plentiful. Also it’s a great time for specs and reds. Good Luck!
Nice box of fish! I used to live in Louisiana, and I worked on a project on the North Shore of Ponchartrain near Mandeville... We drove the sheet piling for the bulkhead in a community that we called "Little Venice" many years ago. Used to love to catch chinquapin in Bay Natchez, below White Castle every May/June...! God bless ALL of us! WWG1WGA
Nothing like sibling rivalry ......You go girl don't take no crap.....great video...we can't see bream beds in south Louisiana water to dirty and too much vegetation
@timothythomas3820 I use 2 different rod and reel setups. One is a Bass Pro Panfish Elite rod with a 2500 series Shimano Sedona with 6lb line. The other is a Berkley Lightening rod with a MaxSTX 20 by Abu Garcia. I have that one spooled with 8 lb line. Both are spooled with mono.
@rickyrishel8198 technically, Tennessee has no limit on bluegill. This specific lake has a limit of 20 each but many lakes out here have no limit for bluegill.

I appreciate all the knowledge! You just got a subscriber
Good info👍 I rarely use live bait, micro hair jigs and plastics wear em out when they are on beds.
What a cool Sister!
Do the gill bed only in spring or throughout spring and summer? Don’t think they bed in fall as fishing has been slow this time of year.
@@johnyarbrough1244 i have not seen a spawn in cooler water. The water temp here has dropped a lot. I think the spawning season is over until spring.
Hello ! What are the size and name of that spinning rod you’re using in this video please. Thank you so much for your answer back please 🙏

They are going to have a nother 3D archery shoot at Herb Parsons Lake May 18,2024.
That was organic, all natural Bream pee!
Which are best: crickets or worms? Does it vary by season, depth, cloudy days, or other variables?
@@johnyarbrough1244 i like to take both. Crickets are typically better for bluegill and worms are better for shellcracker. But either work great.
What is your state limit ty nice video
I asked a question too early in the video thank you

First you have to find them! Easy on a boat, but not the bank !!!!?
Very true. This is much harder from the bank.
Take it like a man!!!
