This is libelous, every time it mentions the criminal couple 'Tony and Elaine' it cuts to the two ethnic characters Natalie and Shameema instead (entirely innocent). They're even on the front page as 'the couple who lied and schemed their way through the competition'

This is so wrong. Alex and Darren didn’t tell tony and Elaine about the earlier train to Tashkent in the second leg - he said he saw something he shouldn’t have and they got there first. What’s the difference? And I don’t remember any time when tony and Elaine mislead other teams - and I’ve watched the series 3 times!

Yes, but if you were watching when Alex & his Dad were to catch a train to Tashkent they met Tony & Elaine just as they were finishing booking their tickets at the railway station and I think that Alex had been made aware of a train that departed at about 05:20 the next morning and he was quite crafty and sly by the fact that he purposely didn't mention this and let T&E book a train for about 3 hours later that same morning.
I, personally don't mind that but you could say that by doing it they brought about bad karma on themselves.
However I have noticed that the BBC in its choice of routes for series 2 & 3 has chosen places that don't really have much in the way of rail services. I just hope that isn't being done on purpose because of what happened in series 1.
By the way, I had also wanted Alex & his Dad to win series 1. They made a good pair and really endeared themselves to the UK TV audience.
In Series 2 it was good to see the Uncle and his nephew bonding on their journey and a big hand to both of them for giving half of the prize money to the homeless families of Brazil.👏🤝👍
The other star couple on Series 2 were of course Rob & Jen. Although I think Jen could do most people's heads in, at times.

What's the big deal? They weren't the only couple who 'lied and schemed', aka, played the game. Felix and the other guy tried giving false information to Natalie and shaheema on the train to mess them up. The other couples did it too. It was a competition. Who's left reeling?
